Stampin' Up! Stacked with Love Valentines Card for SB87

Hello there. Today I have a Valentine's card for you featuring some new Stampin' Up! product from the 2015 Occasions Catalogue, mixed up with some existing products. The layout is based on this week's Stamping and Blogging Design team sketch SB87.

Stampin Up Valentines Card featuring Stacked with Love DSP and Washi tape, Happy Hearts Embossing Folder, Heart Border Punch, Just Sayin' stamp set and matching Word Bubble framelits. By Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia for SB87.

How cute is that Stacked with Love 'xoxo' paper? The Stacked with Love Washi Tape is going to be a firm favourite of mine too I think, along with the new Happy Heart Embossing Folder. You can view all the products I have used for this card in the links at the end of the page. Here's a closer look at the different layers.

Wedding Card using Stampin' Up! Love Story Project Life for Stamping and Blogging

Today's share shows a different way to use some of the Project Life cards from Stampin' Up!. I have created a wedding card using the beautiful Love Story card collection and based on this weeks sketch from Stamping and Blogging.

Stampin Up Love Story Project Life Wedding Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Australia

I have to be honest and say I found this week's sketch a little tricky. I just felt I needed another shape to break up the rectangles, so I cut a heart from the cardstock vellum and added that. I find this a subtle way to add a layer. I was much happier when the vellum heart was in place.I have listed al the products I have used in this week's card in the links below.

Here is the sketch that Sandi gave us to work with this week.

I'm really looking forward to see what the fabulous Stamping and Blogging girls around the world have done with this sketch. A couple of the girls are having a little break this week, but still plenty of inspiration! Hop on over to their blogs and have a look. Such fabulous talented ladies and viewing their creations each week is so inspiring to me.

Stampin' Up! Just Sayin' and Beach Hut Washi Tape for SB61

Hello lovelies, it's challenge time today over at Stamping and Blogging and I have a card to share with you featuring the Just Sayin' stamp set, matching Word Bubble Framelits and the lovely new Beach Hut Washi Tape.

Stampin' Up! Just Sayin' and Beach Hut Washi Tape for SB61 by Claire Daly Melbourne Australia at www.clairedaly.typepad.com

I love the bright happy colours in this washi tape: Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Real Red. Washi tape makes for quick and easy card embellishment don't you think? You'll be able to purchase this set from next Tuesday when the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for 2014 goes live in Australia, I'm so excited! I've also used the Just Sayin' Stamp Set and Word Bubble Framelits, and layered them within two ovals cut using the Oval Framelits. I have pierced around the outside using the Paper Piercer and the Occasions Paper Piercing Template. Finally I embellished with some adhesive rhinestones and a punched heart.

Valentines Day Tag Topper Punch Card

I made this little project for Valentines day, but it could be easily adapted to any Stampin' Up! punch and matching stamp set. Super easy and I have included the measurements below.

Language Of Love stampin up tag topper punch

The tag comes out to show the word 'you' and the coloured heart from Language of Love stamp set  in the new Occasions seasonal catalogue. This set coordinates with a few of our punches plus new Banners Framelit Dies.

Measurements and Instructions

  1. My Wisteria Woner tag piece was 11.5 x 5.1cm before I punched the top using the new & totally cool Stampin' Up! Tag Topper Punch.
  2. My whisper white piece was 10cm x 12.6cm, and scored and folded at halfway accross the widest side (so at 6.3cm).
  3. I punched the full heart in the front of the whisper white piece and then pierced around the edges using the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.
  4. Next I used one of the rolls of our 3 pack of gold washi tape patterns, over the sides and bottom (only one of those edges actually needed sealing, the rest is decoration). I then decorated the rest of the front.
  5. I stamped the Language of Love heart onto a piece of Whisper white (inked with Almost Amethyst and Elegant Eggplant sponged around the edge), which I then cut out with the full heart punch.
  6. To get this heart placed in the correct spot on the tag. place the tag in the pocket and adhere to the tag through the punched opening.
  7. I then finished off with Wisteria Wonder chevron ribbon and linen thread,

Hope you like today's project. If you would like to receive three free projects from me a month, you might be interested in my Stampin' Up! Hostess Clubs which are totally by mail and email, so you can stamp in your pj's if you like!
