Hello lovely papercrafters. Today I am mixing some current favourites with a new product coming in the 2020 / 2021 Annual Catalogue.
Pressed Petals Specialty DSP was a lovely vintage floral DSP in the current Annual Catalogue. I love the photorealistic floral designs and the earthy colours and vintage designs of this beautiful paper. It's exceptional value as there are actually 24 double sided sheets in the pack (4 each of 6 double sided designs), for the same price as our normal DSP. The paper is a little lighter weight, but perfectly fine to use on cards and in memory keeping. I've used coordinating colour base cards of Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Merry Merlot in these cards.
I've used some carry over products for greetings and embellishments. Braided linen trim coiled under the greeting and Champagne Rhinestones around the greeting. My greeting is from Peaceful Moments, which fits perfectly in the Timeless Label punch. My greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Shimmery White cardstock.
What I am really happy with about these cards, is the texture I created. After I had adhered the DSP to the cardfront, I embossed the cardfront with a brand new embossing folder which is debuting in the 2020 Annual Catalogue. It's called Old World Paper 3D folder and the texture it creates is AMAZING!! It's one I would definitely encourage adding to your wish list.
Here's the last two cards in the trio in their entirety.
