Two Stampin' Up! Art Gallery Bundle Cards: Thinking of You and Miss You

Hello stampers :)

Today I have two cards to show you which I have made using the Art Gallery Bundle and the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. Both cards are pretty simple and designed to show off the beautiful paper and the coordinating Fine Art Ribbon. This paper was hand painted by Stampin' Up! artists and is one of my most favourite Stampin' Up! papers ever!

My base card on this one is Petal Pink. For the stamping, I have stamped directly onto one of the lighter neutral paper pieces. The ink colour I have used was Flirty Flamingo and I stamped it off once to give a lighter shade.

The Champagne Rhinestones look great with this paper as well.

For my slimline card, I have used the die cut words in the bundle for my sentiment, and cut these from Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I stamped the other sentiment directly onto the patterned paper again. The base card for this one is Flirty Flamingo, but there is also a teeny mat of Old Olive cardstock around the patterned paper (I think I would make it a little more noticeable next time).

The Fine Art Ribbon is so beautiful. It's a natural base, but has lovely gold flecks through it. I'm so glad it's carrying over to the new 2021 Annual Catalogue (more details below). The bundle will be carrying over too, but sadly not the Fine Art Floral DSP, so make sure to get that before June 3oth!

Thinking of You card using Touch of Ink stamp set from Saleabration and new Double Oval Punch

Hello friends. Today I have a new 2021 Stampin Up card idea featuring the two step stamping technique, two new Saleabration products you can earn for FREE during January and February, and a brand new Stampin' Up! punch available for purchase. It's called the Double Oval Punch and is going to be a graet addition to your punch collection..

The Saleabration items I have used on this card are the Flower and Field Designer Series Paper Pack (free with a $90+ order during January and February), and the A Touch of Ink stamp set (free with a $180 + order in Australia during January and February).

Stampin Up 2021 Thinking of You card using Touch of Ink Saleabration stamp set.

I love the messy look of the two step stamping technique in this set. I have use Flirty Flamingo (stamped off once) for the flower, and Just Jade (also stamped off once) for the Hummingbird. The solid layer of the two step stamping has some great texture to it and is designed to not be a perfect fit. Love sets like that. The outline image can also be used to colour as well, ao it's a really versatile set. Some great sentiments too. You can choose this set as a free Saleabration gift choice with an order of $180+ in January or February.

Stampin Up 2021 Touch of Ink Stamp Set

I have also used the brand NEW Double Oval Punch which debuted in the 2021 January to June Mini Catalogue. It punches both the sentiment label and the outer scalloped shape in the one punch - much better than two separate punches. It's a great size for many sentiments too, including the ones in the Touch of Ink stamp set.

The Double Oval Punch is definitely a GREAT versatile punch to add to your collection.

It's also available as a bundle with a new 2021 stamp set called Oval Occasions. You can save 10% on both the stamp set and the punch by purchasing them together as a bundle.

Stampin Up 2021 Oval Occasions Bundle

I really love the Flower & Field patterned paper pack I have used on this card too. The dark florals are a really great contrast to lighter colours and it has 12 great coordinating colours including Bumblebee, Flirty Flamingo, Cherry Cobbler, Granny Apple Green. Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Shaded Spruce and So Saffron. This paper is only available in January and February and you can earn it free during Saleabration with a $90 order.

Your Creative Connection 111: Creative Tags

600 pixels

Hello friends. We are back for another creative showcase with my global demonstrator friends. This week, out theme is 'Tag, You're It'. When I think of tags, my mind usually goes to vintage tags, or Christmas tags. This time I have created a vintage tag using some of my favourite floral and vintage Stampin' Up! products.

Vintage tag using Very Versailles and Tasteful Textures Stampin Up stamp sets. Tag by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

I started with a 2" wide piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and have used the Delightful Tag Topper Punch (links to all the products I have used today are at the end of the post). I sponged the edges and then layered images from the Very Versailles stamp set, using Crumb Cake ink. I just love this stamp set for vintage floral imagery.

Very Versailles stamp set Stampin' Up!

The flowers are from Tasteful Textures stamp set, and were stamped in Saddle Brown Stazon and then watercoloured with a mix of Rococo Rose, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss. I used my Early Espresso marker for some additional highlights at the end.

My sentiment is from Very Versailles and I used the script stamp on the background of the sentiment strips as well (plus some additional Crumb Cake sponging). The Champagne Rhinestones are a great colour for adding  to vintage projects for a little bling, and I have also used some In Good Taste wooden elements.

Finally I have used the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack for top of the tag. I really love the texture in this trim combo and they are easily frayed for more of a vintage look.

Stampin' Up! Pressed Petals DSP and a sneak peek of the 2020/21 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Hello lovely papercrafters. Today I am mixing some current favourites with a new product coming in the 2020 / 2021 Annual Catalogue.

Pressed Petals Specialty DSP was a lovely vintage floral DSP in the current Annual Catalogue. I love the photorealistic floral designs and the earthy colours and vintage designs of this beautiful paper. It's exceptional value as there are actually 24 double sided sheets in the pack (4 each of 6 double sided designs), for the same price as our normal DSP. The paper is a little lighter weight, but perfectly fine to use on cards and in memory keeping. I've used coordinating colour base cards of Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Merry Merlot in these cards.

I've used some carry over products for greetings and embellishments. Braided linen trim coiled under the greeting and Champagne Rhinestones around the greeting. My greeting is from Peaceful Moments, which fits perfectly in the Timeless Label punch.  My greeting is stamped in Early Espresso ink onto Shimmery White cardstock.

What I am really happy with about these cards, is the texture I created. After I had adhered the DSP to the cardfront, I embossed the cardfront with a brand new embossing folder which is debuting in the 2020 Annual Catalogue. It's called Old World Paper 3D folder and the texture it creates is AMAZING!! It's one I would definitely encourage adding to your wish list.

Stampin' Up! NEW Ornate Garden Suite including the gorgeous Ornate Floral Embossing Folder

Hello crafty friends. I hope you and your families are well and safe at this worrying time in the world. Today I want to show you some pretty things which I hope will make you smile. I have made three cards using the newly released Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden suite. This beautiful suite of products is a new early release from the 2020 / 2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

All three of my cards feature the absolutely beautiful Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. I LOVE this new folder and it's delicate design. For this one my base is Mint Macaron.

In this card the die cut foliage is a left over from my third card. I used one of the frames directly onto the DSP which I like the look of. My greeting from this card is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set (from the 2019 / 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue).

My second card is an almost identical design, but uses Blushing Bride as the base.

The greeting from this one is the Ornate Thanks stamp set which is bundled with the Ornate Borders Dies (can also be purchased separately, but you get a 10% discount if purchased in the bundle). It is stamped in Mint Macaron. The little Blushing Bride flowers are from the Ornate Border Dies.

My final card just used Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride cardstock.  I have used both the Ornate Frames and Ornate Border Dies, as well as the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder.

I just love these elegant floral borders. For the greeting in the frame I used the Peaceful Moments stamp set. Just a few adhesive pearls in the flower centres and we are done.
