Flower Tulips Vellum Thank You Card

Hello friends. Today is all about flowers, and tulips at that! I am using the Stampin' Up! Flowering Tulips bundle from the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue. In Australia we are now into Autumn and I will soon be planting my tulips and other bulbs for my Spring and Winter flowers.

The Flowering Tulips bundle includes a stamp set and a set of dies which cuts out images, but also includes some dies to make 3D tulips, including layering petals for three different tulips, the flower stem and leaves.

On this card I have also used the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. When a paper is quite bold as this one is, I often use vellum to soften some of the paper. That provides me with a focal point for the flower. To adhere the vellum, I used a cotton bud to smear a really thin layer of Multipurpose Glue on the paper until it was just tacky, and then placed the vellum on top. It adheres without the glue being visible through the vellum.

My flower is cut with Petal Pink cardstock and the petals sponged with Poppy Parade, to coordinate with the colours in the paper. My base card is Pool Party. To embellish my card I have used Linen Thread and Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Quick and Easy Stampin' Up! Hand Penned Cards

I love being able to whip up quick and easy handmade cards. The Stampin' Up! Hand Penned Memories and More cards make creating a breeze as you can buy the pre-printed cards and envelopes (which are SO pretty), and then you have a range of perfectly sized cards you can play around with for elements on the card front.

Here are two cards I made quickly and easily using these products.

Stampin Up Hand Penned Quick and Easy Cards by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

For my first card, I just trimmed down one of the 6x4" cards and added a Daffodil Delight mat either side. The sentiment is from Hand-Penned stamp set and I have used the Double Oval Punch with the sentiment. The embellishments I have shown on this one are the Genial Gems which coordinate with this suite perfectly (links at end of post to view products I have used).

Stampin Up Hand Penned Quick and Easy Cards by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

For this one, I just added a Polished Pink Mat to the 3x4" card from the Hand-Penned Memories and More pack, and then cut one of the die-cuts from the Penned Flower Dies in half and adhered to the top and bottom before adhering it to the pre-printed card. My greeting is from Best Year sentiment set and I have used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch on the label. It would even be beautiful without the die cut as the prints in this suite are so beautiful.

Here's a closer look at Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards (50 in a pack) and the pre-printed cards and envelopes  (20 of each in a pack). Stampin' Up! Hand Penned Suite and Encircled in Beauty Dies

Hello friends.

Today I wanted to share a card that was quick and easy to create, but which I love because it uses 3 of my favourite things from the new Annual Catalogue.

Stampin Up 2021 thank you card using Hand-Penned Petals bundle and Encircled in Beauty Dies. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia.

The 3 favourite items I have used on this card (you can check them out in the links at the end of the post) are:

  • The Hand-Penned Petals Suite (but you already knew that from previous posts, right?)
  • The gorgeous Encircled in Beauty Dies. I love how circle dies break up the straight lines in cards.
  • The Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards and Envelopes. I LOVE these! They are pre-printed and ready to go, plus incredible value. Just $17.50 for 20 cards and coordinating patterned envelopes. They make a perfect card base for stamped cards, or cards made using the elements in the Hand-Penned Memories and More card pack.

Stampin Up 2021 thank you card using Hand-Penned Petals bundle and Encircled in Beauty Dies. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia

The secons layer of the card is a strip of the Hand-Penned DSP (5cm wide x 13.5cm) with a banner end cut in one end. The largest Encircled in Beauty die is a great size to use with this image. I stamped the image in Basic Gray, and over-stamped the flower using Pale Papaya. For the leaves, I used my Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends to colour them. This picks up the colours in the Hand-Penned DSP I have used as the first layer. To finish my card off, I have used some of the Genial Gems from the Hand-Penned Suite.

Stampin' Up! Bloom Where You are Planted Suite and Plentiful Plants Bundle

Hello stamping friends.

Today I have a card that is perfect for the plant lovers (and that's me too!). This thank you card, features a brand new suite in the 2021 - 2022 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, called Bloom Where You are Planted. The centre piece in this bundle is the Plentiful Plants Bundle of stamp set and coordinating dies. There is also a delightful plant themed Bloom Where You are Planted Designer Series Paper and some paper lattice pieces.

Stampin Up Plentiful Plants Bundle and Bloom Where You are Planted Suite. 2021 card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I have used Soft Succulent (a new 2021 InColor) as the base card, and the brick paper is from the Bloom Where You are Planted DSP.

Stampin Up Plentiful Plants Bundle and Bloom Where You are Planted Suite. 2021 card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

For this card, the posts and plants were actually cut from the DSP using the dies which coordinate with the images in a couple of the sheets of the paper. I also fussy cut a couple of others using paper snips. The macrame hanger and the pot stand were cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock using the dies. The lattice was sponged with Early Espresso ink (it comes as Kraft thick paper) so there was more definition between the bricks and the lattice. I tied a double layer of linen thread around the top of the card.

Here's a look at the bundle so you can see the leaves and pot dies included (that also coordinate with the paper - VERY cool).

The sentiment is the only thing stamped on this stamp set! I have used Early Espresso ink to stamp the greeting on Crumb Cake cardstock, and used the Everyday Label Punch to cut this out (I then trimmed some excess from the top and bottom of the label using my trimmer).

The good news is, you can buy all of these scrumptious products in one suite, all together. It's called the Bloom Where You are Planted Suite and you can find it HERE in my Online Stampin' Up! Store.

I'm looking forward to playing lots more with this beautiful bundle, and stamping some of the images too. Here are some projects from the Stampin' Up! designers using this suite.
