A little break.

Just a note to let you know I'll be taking a break from blogging over the next 3 weeks while I attend the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip with over 400 other global demonstrators. I'm so grateful to my wonderful customers and team that have helped my business grow and be successful to qualify for these trips.

The opportunity to network face to face with my amazing demonstrator friends globally, is one that I really get so much enjoyment and value from. I'll also get to see the new Holiday Catalogue (coming in September 2019) and see some product displays, samples and do some make and takes using these products - so exciting!

I'm travelling with a great friend this time (my amazing husband is looking after the boys this time) and we are excited to be adding on a little time in Rome and a little time in Paris after the trip. We leave tonight so I am frantically packing as this post goes live.

It's business as usual while I am away with communication and ordering, The best way to contact me while away is email or Facebook Messenger and you will find all of these details on the Contact Me page.

Even though I won't be blogging, I will be posting randomly on Instagram (most) and my Facebook Business Page (a little) while I am away.

Have a fabulous July and I look forward to chatting again after the 22nd. Lots of

Claire

Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peeks & Alaska Incentive Trip Part 2

Back today to wrap up my recap of the 2018 Stampin' Up! Alaska Incentive Trip.

First up, I wanted to share some of the fabulous things which were on display in Stampers Base Camp. These were all completely new samples and products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue, which was launched on the trip. The Holiday catalogue products will be available to purchase from September 5th. I'll be sending out copies to my regular customers (and any new customers who place orders with me this month) during August. If you are completely new to Stampin' Up! or your demonstrator is no longer active, you can request a copy from me on my catalogue sign up page.

I love all the beautiful samples we saw on the ship. This is only a small portion of them, but as you can see there is lots of tradition, and traditional colour this year. Let's have a look at some of my favourite samples (these samples were prepared by the Stampin' Up! artists).

There were also reindeers, and Poinsettias ...

Lots of great sets for colouring this year too.

Then were elves!

Also beautiful bundles for layering. As the trip was global, we had samples with some of the translated greetings as well.

Then there was this amazing work of art in a tin!

I really love the kits in this years catalogue too. Here are one of the Christmas card kits, and a tag kit (which comes in a cute tin). These kits would make a great gift.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and I especially love Christmas crafting! I can't wait to get started on creating using these beautiful 2018 Holiday Catalogue products, and sharing these projects with you over the coming months.

Stampin' Up! always spoil us with pillow gifts each night, which is very exciting. We received all sorts of amazing things including Holiday Catalogue product, a scratch off world map, logo rug and logo speaker. My two favourite gifts though were our jacket we received on the first night (great to keep us warm on the cool nights and glacier day), and the logo bag. It was easy to spot the demonstrators t the airports on the way home as we were all carrying our lovely new bag.

The jacket came in super handy right up near the glacier!

Then there is the best part of all - the people! The thing I absolutely look forward to the most with each trip is catching up with global Stampin' Up! friends, and making new ones. I had to make a couple of collages here, as there were too many photos I wanted to post.

Before we could blink, the ship had arrived back into Seattle (after a couple of nights of loud fog horns) and it was time to go home. What an amazing experience. I am so grateful to my customers, my team and to work for a company like Stampin' Up!.

As we flew out of Seattle after saying our goodbyes, I was greeted with two more beautiful sights. First I got a wonderful view of snow capped Mt Rainier, and then the moon rising as the sun set on another great Incentive Trip.

I hope you have enjoyed the trip recap. I'll be back tomorrow with a creative post. Until then, stay happy.

My Stampin' Up! Alaska Incentive Trip swap card, featuring Very Vintage stamp set.

Hello stamping friends! I'm so excited to be back from holidays and the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska (yes really I am) and blogging for you again. I had a fabulous holiday, and I hope to bring you a highlights post very soon. It's always lovely to come home though, and I love creating and sharing with you.

Today I wanted to share with you the card I created for the demonstrator swap on the Incentive Trip. We needed to make 26 cards, of which one went on display and we got 25 back. I will be sharing some of my favourite swaps over on my Facebook Business Page over the next few weeks, so make sure you follow me over there too. For me, the swapping is all about the fun of just sharing what we love though. I love the process of getting my swaps ready before the trip (yes really I do) as it gets me into trip mode. I love hearing from other demonstrators who received my card too.

So here's the card I created 26 of.

Stampin Up Alaska Incentive Trip swap by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! demo Melbourne Australia. Using Very Vintage and Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.

My base card is Fresh Fig, and that was stamped onto with Fresh Fig ink using the Very Vintage stamp set (one of my absolute favourites in the  catalogue). It's in the Stampin' Reward section, which means the clear mount version can be chosen FREE with a $250 order all through the life of the 2018 Annual Catalogue. Here's a closer look at it. Isn'y it gorgeous?

Very Vintage 1

The sponged panel on my card uses the following ink colours: Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Rich Razzelberry. The images are just stamped over that in Memento Black. To add a bit of extra texture and shine, I added an embossed copper greeting, and also a copper foil mat on the sponged panel.

A look back at our Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team Demonstrator Training / Creating Day

It's been a few weeks since the training and creative day I put on for our Stampin' Up! Art With Heart Team girls in Melbourne, Australia. Time to have a look back at some of the fun of the day.

Team Logo

It was so great to have a whole Saturday (we went from 9.30am to 4.00pm) in the Melbourne CBD to meet up and connect in person. We have an amazing team forum and virtual support, but nothing beats spending tome in person together. I LOVE spending time with these amazing ladies.

Stampin Up Art With Heart Team Training & Creating Day Melbourne 2018

We had 5 presentations during the day on practical ideas team members could use in their business to continue to build. We have some great leaders with lots of experience in our team so we were able to cover lots of great topics. We also had Clare Langsford, one of our Australian South Pacific Demonstrator Support Managers attend on the day and do a fabulous presentation for us.

The majority of the day was about being creative though!

Everyone that came along got to make three make and take projects. I had two team members work hard to put these together or the day.

We also had a demonstration session, where four of our clever team members demonstrated some innovative ways to use our products.

Everyone bought along things they had been making for the creative display and there was lots of chatting going on about the awesome projects. We all agreed we need much more space for the display projects next time as there were just so many to show.

Add in prize patrols throughout the day (everyone took home a prize), some fun selfie frame pics, some delicious morning tea and a chance to wander around the laneways of Melbourne to have some lunch, and all in all it was a really great day.  A big shout out as well to my tech savvy son who came along as the helper / tech guy on the day and was a HUGE help.
