Sydney Stampin Up OnStage Local Recap - Part 2 with lots of sneak peeks from the 2016 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Following on from Part 1, here is what we got up to on the main day of the Stampin' Up! OnStage2016 demonstrator training event in Sydney at the Hilton Hotel. I had over 30 of my team girls there and it was lovely to sit together and share this great event with them.

I had picked up my bag the night before, which contained a stamp set, and some other goodies, we had already been posted out name tags and ribbons before the event.

Attendee bag

I had some 'first time attending the events' girls this time so I made sure I was downstairs nice and early to welcome them. By all accounts they had lots of fun.

We sit at round tables at these events as we do stamping too. Our host for the Sydney event was Rich Judkins, the Stampin' Up! President who flew in from Salt lake City. He was a fun host that's for sure. The tables were set up all waiting for us (no peeking sign on the make and take ox, ha ha).

It was very exciting to receive the brand new 2016 Annual Catalogue as the very first item on the agenda!

We then had lots of fabulous presentations showing us new products with tips and creative ways to use them. These presentations are amazing and such a valuable tool for demonstrators to help build our own skills and get to know the new products. There is also hands on stamping where we got to play with new products (at this stage I often spend time helping new team members, so these two samples are actually my lovely friend Sharon Davern's.

Mke and takes

We did three make and takes altogether and also had a chance to stamp and punch the new 2016 -18 In Colours!

2016 to 18 Incolours watermarked

As it was the ten year Anniversary of Stampin' Up!, we had these cute little cupcakes to celebrate. I love the little cupcake toppers and t's a fave memento from the event and my nearly 10 years as a demonstrator.

Let's not forget FREE STAMPS! In addition to the Mixed Borders stamp set we received in our bad at check in, we got another stamp set as an all attendee give away (Sitting Here stamp set) and I won the Baby Bear stamp set in prize patrol - yeah!

One of the most exciting parts of the event though, was the opportunity to see, touch and wow over completely new products coming to you in June! Are you ready for some sneak peeks?

Stampin' Up! Convention, Melbourne Australia 2014!

I have so many adventures to tell you about as over the last 3 weeks I have been on an amazing trip as part of the Stampin' Up! Grand vacation. We also extended the trip and went to new York before and Orlando afterwards. So many adventures.

For now though it's all about the Stampin' Up! South Pacific Convention which kicked off in Melbourne Australia yesterday. We had an inspiring leadership day, followed by a Manager's Reception for leaders. It was AMAZING!

The venue was a beautiful art deco hall on the top floor of Myer in the city. It's caller Myer Mural hall because it has these amazing hand painted murals from the 1920's illuminated on the walls. Such an elegant venue.

We were very spoilt with beautiful table settings and flowers, a lovely embossed boxed gift of a lace shawl and stamp set which fitted the theme perfectly, and delicious food! Tea and coffee was served in very fancy tea cups!
