Hello stamping friends.
Today I have a card idea for friends. My stamp set is Under My Umbrella from the 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, and it has a coordinating punch. I have coloured the images with Stampin' Blends and have used a little sponging too. It's going to rain a bit this week in Melbourne (I actually love listening to the rain though, and it's great for the garden too) so this is an appropriate stamp set for sure.
I've put together a video for you showing the techniques I used to colour and blend with Stampin' Blends, and how to make the easy cloud background.
My colour palette was nice an bright and featured two of the Stampin' Up! 2020-22 InColours.
The cloud effect is super easy to make, and you don't need anything special. I show you how in the video.
I hope today's card has bought a smile to your face. I know the 'Under My Umbrella' stamp set brings a smile to my face! Here's a closer look at a couple of the products.
Next up we have the coordinating Umbrella Builder Punch ($31). Punches make creating so easy don't you think? Especially when they perfectly coordinate with stamp sets.
You can find all the products I have used today in my Stampin' Up! Online Store, and all the individual products are linked at the bottom of the post. When you shop online with me in Australia, and use the monthly Host Code, you also qualify for a small thank you gift mid the month after your purchase. My customers love getting these little gifts in the mail. Here's the shop link (individual product links at the end of the post), and this month's host code. You can read about three ways to shop with me HERE.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great week and I'll be back in a day or two.
