Three quick and easy Stampin' Up! cards using Heart & Home Memories and More Cards and Envelopes.

Hello stamping friends.  Are you ready for some quick and easy Stampin' Up! cards?

I find one of the best ways to make quick cards, is by using the Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, and Memories and More Card Packs. Today I have three quick cards for you using these products from the Heart and Home Suite in the Stampin' Up! 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue.

Three quick and easy 2022 Stampin Up Heart and Home cards using Memories and More. Cards by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Melbourne, Australia.

The cards are already pre-printed and come in the pack with coordinating envelopes. There are two sizes in this pack: gift cards and full sized cards. The coordinating Heart and Home Memories and More Card Pack has journaling cards (in two sizes) and cardstock weight stickers which can be used for both scrapbooking and cardmaking. I have used these cards and stickers, along with other elements from the Heart and Home suite (doilies and denim ribbon) to make these cards. I love how they turned out and they were so quick and easy. These are the two gift cards:

Three Cards in One with Stampin Up Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hello crafty friends. Today I want to show you how you can make 3 quick and easy Stampin Up cards in one! I have used the Stampin' Up! Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Stampin Up Australia Annual Catalogue, along with the super versatile Biggest Wish stamp set from the same catalogue.

Stampin Up 3 quick and easy cards in one using Pansy Petals DSP. 2021 Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Here's the three cards I made.

Stampin Up 3 quick and easy cards in one using Pansy Petals DSP. 2021 Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Card Instructions

  1. Start with 3 x C6 standard card bases in Soft Succulent (that's an A4 sheet cut in half vertically and folded in half).
  2. Cut three pieces of coordinating DSP pieces each 10cmx 14.3cm.
  3. Stack them together in your trimmer and make 2 angled cuts (it doesn't really matter where you make them, but aim for 3 pieces around the same size).
  4. Select one piece from each pattern and adhere to the card leaving a teeny gap in between each piece.

The final step is to adhere a sentiment label over the join of the three pieces. I used a circle with my greeting from Biggest Wish stamped in colours to coordinate with the DSP. If you don't have the Biggest Wish Stamp Set, I strongly suggest you take a look using the links at the end of the post. It's so versatile.

I have also used a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (you need about 22cm for each card), and one of the Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

This is such a quick and easy design, I will definitely be making more quick and easy cards using this layout.

Quick and Easy Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked 'Hello' Card

A quick card is a good card, right? Sometimes for me that is definitely the case, other times I like to play with techniques. Today though, I want to show you a quick and easy card using the Artistically Inked bundle from the Stampin Up Australia 2021 Annual Catalogue.

Quick and easy Stampin Up Artistically Inked bundle card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

Measurements / Supplies:

To make this card you will need (find these items using the links at the bottom of the post):

  • Standard C6 top folded Pear Pizazz card as the base.
  • A piece of Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper 10cm x 14.3cm (the piece with Pear Pizazz and Pale Papaya on it)
  • A die cut (out of Pear Pizazz) of the large leaf /branch piece from the Artistic Dies
  • 3 adhesive sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack
  • A piece of Pale Papaya and White ribbon, 25cm in length
  • White bakers twine
  • A scrap of white cardstock and Pear Pizazz ink pad to stamp the greeting from the Artistically Inked stamp set.

Quick and easy Stampin Up Artistically Inked bundle card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. I adhered the piece of DSP to the card using Stampin' Seal adhesive (you could also use Multipurpose Glue)
  2. I adhered the die cut with glue dots in about 3 or 4 places.
  3. Wrap the Pale Papaya and White ribbon over the top of the branch and overlap on the underside of the card. I just used Stampin' Seal to keep it in place but be sure to not place any adhesive where you will be tying the bow with the White bakers twine. You don't want the ribbon adhered too tightly for the same reason.
  4. Stamp the 'hello' sentiment in Pear Pizazz ink onto a scrap of white cardstock. Trim and cut the ends on an angle.
  5. Adhere the sentiment piece towards the bottom right of the card and place the three adhesive sequins around the edges.

That's all there is to it. Easy, right?

Prized Peony stamp set and the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch, with a new video.

Hello friends. Today we are playing with the Peony Garden product suite and I have also incorporated my fave new punch from the 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch.

Peony Garden | Prized Peony 2020 Stampin' Up! card with video by Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

There's lots of layers and textures in this one! Here are the measurements of the layers I have used:

  • Base card is a 14cm x 14cm Blushing Bride card
  • Layer 2 is a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock 13.5cm square, which I have embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder (see links at end of post) which is attached with Stampin' Seal.
  • Layer 3 is a piece of the Gray Granite DSP 11.5cm squared. This acts as a mat to layer 4 (attached with Stampin' Seal), and that combined layer is attached to layer 2 with Dimensionals.
  • Layer 4 is a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock 11cm square, and I have arranged punched Peony Garden DSP over the cardstock, leaving a small gap between each one to show the punched edges and colour through (see picture below which shows how I arranged the punched shapes).
  • Layer 5 is a 7cm square piece of Blushing Bride cardstock, which acts as a mat to Layer 6 (adhered with Stampin' Seal). That combined layer is attached to layer 4 using Dimensionals.
  • Layer 6 is a 6.6cm square piece of Shimmery White cardstock and the sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite.
  • Layer 7 is lots of looped ribbon and trim for texture (see the video below); and finally
  • Level 8 is the single peony stamp from Prized Peony Stamp Set . I embossed it in white, and added a wash of Blushing Bride with my Water Painters, and then added some additional shading with Rococo Rose.

Here's a look at how I did the Rectangle Postage Stamp arrangement. I arranged them on the corder of a piece of A4 cardstock so some would be overlapping the edges and be a straight cut when I trimmed this piece to size.

If you are relatively new to cardmaking, and would like to see how I have used and attached the ribbons and trims for added texture, I have created a short video for you.

Stampin' Up! Australia: Beautiful Peacock for Saleabration 2018

Today's share is another Stampin' Up! Saleabration 2018 product which can be earned for free. This time it's the Beautiful Peacock stamp set. I have also used the Celbrate You Thinlits again (told you they were versatile!).

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Peacock card by Claire Daly Stampin Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia. #peacockstamp #occasions2018 #stampinupcards2018 #clairedaly #stampinupaustralia

This is a super easy set to line up (it's photopolymer so use a foam stamping mat underneath when you stamp)  and can be used in many different ways. I wanted quite a simple card today, so I just added some embossing from the Petal Pair embossing folder duo (in Occasions Catalogue) and the Celebrate Youdie cuts. To get the different colours on the feathers, I used a sponge dauber to sponge on a little Bermuda Bay to the feathers stamp that I had already inked up with Lemon Lime Twist.

I also wanted to show you a great trick that was demonstrated at the OnStage training event (another great perk of being a demonstrator) by Brandi, one of our US based trainers. Excuse the photos on these ones, as they were pictures of the video screen.

Brandi started out with the Beautiful Peacock, and it's tail stamped in different colours. This would make a great card by itself, but Brandi wanted to add a real WOW. So she went a couple more steps.

She used some of the Calypso Coral Shimmer Ribbon (available with 2 other colours as a free level 1 pick in the Saleabration catalogue, but we also have some in other colours in the Annual Catalogue) and pulled the shimmer thread in the ribbon to be ended with a fabulous frayed section of ribbon perfect for a peacocks tail. You can tie one end together securely using the thread you pulled out.

Here's how it looks added to the card with a few extra embellishments.
