Stampin Up Fresh as a Daisy Quick and Easy Cards InColor Cards

Did you know the Stampin' Up! Fresh as a Daisy DSP coordinates with all five of the new InColors? I made these 5 quick and easy hand made cards to show the coordination. From left to right I have used the following new InColors for the base card and the mat on the sentiment label: Pebbled Path, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, Copper Clay and Moody Mauve.

For each card I used a contrasting colour as a mat to the patterned paper and followed that colour through on the paper strip under the label and the ink colour for the sentiment. In this example below I have used Copper Clay. I coordinated the jute bows with the base cardstock colour. For the Jute bow I have used just one of the strands of the twine (there are 3 strands so I just twisted and divided them).

The InColor jute twine is fabulous value actually. You get 4.6m of each colour in the one pack, and if you divide the strands it will go even further. Here's just one of the five colours you get in the pack (Boho Blue) so you can see what it looks like before it's unravelled to one thread.

For these two examples I have used Copper Clay with Pretty Peacock for the left hand side card, and Moody Mauve with Wild Wheat for the one on the right.

For the sentiments, I used the Something Fancy stamp set with the coordinating dies. The dies have these two graduating sized labels which I have stacked on top of each other using Dimensionals. Here's a look at the Something Fancy Stamp Set and the coordinating Something Fancy Dies.

Hello friends,

I hope this finds you well and happy. Apologies for the delay in getting back here. 10 days ago I tripped over coming out of the garden and landed on some cement slabs with my wrist extended, and well you know the rest. I've broken my wrist and have done some ligament damage and I'm in a brace / cast for 6 weeks. I'm slowly adjusting to what I can and can't do, so it will only be simple creations from me for the next little while.

I did manage to make two cards on the weekend with a little help though! More on that in a tic. First I wanted to announce the winner of a competition I held for my purchasing customers.

Stampin Up Saleabration 2023: Dainty Flowers DSP Gift Card Set

Hello friends. 

Today I wanted to show you a gift set of cards I made using the Dainty Fkowers DSP which you can earn for FREE during Saleabration with orders of $90 before postage. It has beautiful floral imagery on a white background on white side with solid or monochromatic patterns on the reverse and it coordinates with the Dainty Delight bundle from the new 2023 January to April Mini Catalogue. The coordinating Stampin' Up! colours are Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Fresh Freesia, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Starry Sky.

Here's a look at the packaged up gift set of cards I made for a friend as part of her Christmas present. To package them up, I made a belly band using some of the DSP and then tied up with twine. I then used another sheet of the DSP (the one with the 6 floral ovals) and made a cover piece to attach over the belly band. The letter was cut using the new Alphabet Al a Carte dies in the Stampin' Up! 2023 January to April Mini Catalogue.

For the cards, I used this sheet of the DSP for 6 card fronts which I adhered to cardstock base cards in Fresh Freesia, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz.

For the sentiments, I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the Something Fancy stamp set in the 2023 January to April Mini Catalogue.

For the inside of each card I just attached a small strip of DSP to coordinate.

Heart of Christmas Week 10: Santa Express Memories and More for Quick and easy Christmas Cards

Welcome to another week of the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team Heart of Christmas blog hop. This week I decided to use the Santa Express Memories and More Card Pack and the coordinating cards and envelopes, to make a couple of quick cards. I love that the cards and envelopes are perfectly sized and coloured for the Memories and More cards as this makes for very quick and easy cards. 

For this card, I started with one of the 6x4" cards adhered directly onto one of the coordinating cards. I cut one of the 6x4" cards down to a 2" strip which I cut a banner end in. This pops behind one of the 3x4" cards. The corner stickers and 'hohoho' embellishment piece is included in the card pack. To adhere the wooden embellishment, I placed some multipurpose glue onto a silicon sheet, and used a sponge dauber to sponge it onto the back. When it's tacky, I then adhered it. The glue peels easily off the silicon sheet. I have also added a couple of red rhinestone jewels to the berries on the corner stickers.

For my second card I have just used three of the 3x4 cards in various ways, which are attached to one of the 6x4" cards which is adhered directly onto one of the coordinating base cards. I have cut one on the 3x4" cards down (the Evening Evergreen one to pop behind the others. I then offset one and attached it to the feature card (I added the feature card to an Evening Evergreen mat first). 

I attached the 'joy' wooden embellishment (from the card pack), the same way as the previous card. The rest of the sentiment is stamped from the Brightest Glow stamp set. I then added some red rhinestone jewels to the corner berries for some added dimension.

I hope you like these quick and easy cards. I love the colours and ease of creating with this Memories and More pack. Perfect for Christmas creating!

Stampin Up Wonderful World 2022 Saleabration Bundle 4 Ways

Hello friends. 

Today I am showcasing four projects using one of the gorgeous Saleabration bundles you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order during Saleabration which is on during July and August. This is one of the level 2 gifts, so you can earn if for FREE with a $180 order before postage (read all about Saleabration and see all the things you can get earn FREE here). The bundle includes a gorgeous floral stamp set, and a coordinating 12x12" Designer Series paper pack.

This card uses a quick and easy watercolour technique. I stamped the image in Orchid Oasis onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper, and then spritzed the paper with water until the colour ran a bit.

I've layered some of the gorgeous papers in the DSP pack, along with some layering vellum (love the prints in this!) and some linen thread. My greeting is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and is embossed in white onto Gray Granite cardstock.

My second card is super simple. I just used the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch to cut three images from the DSP, and layered them onto one of the DSP pieces and added a sentiment. This greeting is from the Potted Geranium stamp set, and is stamped in Crumb Cake onto Basic White cardstock. I have created the label ends using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, which punches two different types of label ends in three widths (super versatile in my craft stash).

Next I created a little gift box to go with the above card. This was also super simple to make, as I used one of the new Envelope Treat Boxes (in the July to December mini catalogue) which are precut and scored. I just measured and cut pieces of the DSP to fit on the sides and top of the box (the closure is on the bottom). I also used the Tailored Tags dies to cut a little matching tag from the DSP. The Potted Geranium stamp set has some cute small sentiments to fit on the tag.

My fourth project is a fun fold card I made for my free subscriber tutorials a couple of weeks ago (you can subscribe for these HERE). 

This card fold up nicely to fit inside a C6 envelope. I was inspired to make this after seeing some lovely cards by Helen Reid of All Things Stampy in the UK. You can see Helen's version of this card HERE.
