Stampin Up Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder with In the Pines Bundle

Hello stampers,

Today I am sharing a 2020 Christmas card I created using the inked embossing folder technique with the Stampin Up Evergreen 3D emboosing folder. I also have used one of the. dies from the In the Pines Bundle. This makes 8 Stampin' Up! In the Pine Christmas Card Ideas to share with you.

2020 Stampin Up Christmas Card using Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder, In the Pines Bundle, inked embossing folder technique. Card by Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

For the embossed piece, I used the inked embossing folder technique (I started with Pear Pizazz cardstock and inked with Mossy Meadow ink).

Here's a video I did for my YouTube channel which shows this technique.

Once I had completed the embossing, I trimmed the piece to 10cm x 14.3cm, inked the edges with Mossy Meadow ink and then mounted onto a standard C6 cardstock base. I die cut two trees from the brushed Metallic cardstock, using the Pine Woods Dies, which are Part of the In The Pines bundle. My greeting was one I had sitting on my desk from another project (it's from Poinsettia Petals) but there are lovely greetings in the In the Pines Bundle which could be used as well. It's stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto Shimmery White cardstock. I added three of the clear and gold gems from Wonderful Gems to finish my card. I also tied a double strand of linen thread around the top of the card and tied a bow.

Stampin Up Snowflake Splendor Christmas Card with Inlaid Embossing

Hello friends. Today I have another Christmas card for you. It uses the Snowflake Splendor suite of products from the 2020 Stampin Up August to December Holiday Catalogue.

I love how this card turned out with the pastel colours. There isn't any stamping on this card; it's all punched, die cut or embossed. I have used the Inlaid Embossing technique on the main layer which creates texture and interest. Instructions are below (but it's so easy!).

Stampin Up Snowflake Splendor 2020 Christmas Card using Inlaid Embossing Technique. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I love the variation in colourin this Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. This one I have used for the background looks like it has been created with sponging and inking. It's beautiful to create with.

Inlaid Embossing Technique Instructions

Inlaid embossing just refers to the pieces you add to the card, also being included in the embossing. For this card:

  1. Start with a piece of the Snowflake Splendor DSP 9.9cm x 14.2cm which I adhered to a piece of cardstock the same size for extra weight.
  2. Punch three pieces of coordinating Snowflake Splendor DSP, using the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.
  3. Adhere these evenly across the centre of the card using glue or Stampin' Seal.
  4. Emoss this whole piece in the Winter Snow Embossing Folder.

Here's the piece before it was embossed.

and here is the piece after it was embossed  with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder to create the Inlaid Embossing.

After I had completed this layer, I sponged the edges in Misty Moonlight ink (using a sponge dauber) and then placed it onto a thin mat of Balmy Blue Cardstock, and onto a base card of Highland Heather.

Next I die cut the snowflakes in Balmy Blue Glimmer paper and Balmy Blue cardstock, using the So Many Snowflakes Dies, and popped one of the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems in the centre of each (they come in different sizes which suited my project). For the sentiment I used my Word Wishes dies and Purple Posy cardstock.

The Word Wishes Dies are a super versatile die set to own as you can create so many different die cut sentments. You can get even more sentiments when you combine it with the coordinating stamp set called A Wish for Everything. Here's a look at these two great products.

Stampin' Up! Forever Greenery Appreciation Card

Hi stampers.

Today I want to show you a card I made for some of my team who recently attended a Stampin' Up! Leadership event. I used Forever Greenery product suite (Forever Fern 10% off Bundle is a part of this) to make this card to show my appreciation. I have also used the lovely In Good Taste Elements which are wood embellishments for cards and crapbooking. Later in my post I will talk about how to use these.

This would be a great card for friends, co-workers, team members or anyone  you wanted to show appreciation towards.

Stampin Up card idea using Forever Greenery Product Suite (Forver Fern bundle), Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

It's a very simple patterned paper background layer using the beautiful Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper Pack (12 double sided sheets 12x12", with 2 each of 6 designs). There's a wide range of designs included, and I have used a small strip of a more busy pttern, with a larger piece of one of the smaller patterned images. This paper is on special for 15% off until 31st October 2020.

Forver Greenery Designer Series Paper pack by Stampin Up. From 2020 Annual Catalogue. Buy in Australia from Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I love the gorgeous plant and leaves imagery on this paper, and it coordinates with some of my favourite Stampin' Up! colours. This paper coordinates with Garden Green, Soft Sea Foam, Pretty Peacock, Pear Pizazz, Just Jade and Shaded Spruce.

How to Use Wooden Embellishments On Your Cards

The wooden embellishments from In Good Taste Elements, really add extra wow and texture to this card. To use these wooden embellishments:

  1. Tuck them under sentiment labels and attach with a glue dot (these adhesives are great for heavier embellishments).
  2. You could also coloir them with ink or acylic paint to coordinate with your project if you are not looking for the natural look
  3. Dip them in Versamark and embossing power and heat with a heat gun for an embossed look.

7 Ideas with Stampin Up In the Pines bundle and stamp set for Christmas 2020, including quick and easy ideas.

Hey stampers.

Today I have 7 ideas for you for using the Stampin' Up! In the Pines bundle, which is proving to be very popular for Christmas Cards in 2020 with my Stampin' Up! customers in Australia.

7 Stampin Up In the Pines Bundle Ideas for Christmas Card.

Let's start with this quick, simple and easy 2020 Christmas card for you. You could make in 15 minutes using the In The Pines bundle from the 2020 Stampin Up August to December mini catalogue. It's the sort of card you could make 10-20 easily in one session at the craft desk. I have the measurements and instructions written below for you.

Quick and easy Stampin Up! In the Pines 2020 Christmas Card by Clire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Here's a look at the Stampin' Up! In the Pines stamp set and Pine Woods Dies which make up the bundle (both items can also be purchased separately, but you get it 10% off when they are purchased together).

Stampin Up 2020 In the Pines Bundle which can be purchased from Claire Daly in Australia. Click for contact details or store link.

Measurements and Instructions to make this card:

  1. Start with your standard size card base. I embossed the front with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, but that is optional.
  2. Cut a piece of patterned paper 7.5cm x 11cm (this is the size of one of the Stampin' Up! Stitched Rectangle Dies if you have them - that is what I used).
  3. Cut a piece of cardstock the same colour as your base card 6.5cm x 10cm (this is also the size of one of the stitched rectangles)
  4. In this top layer, cut the largest tree which has the scalloped leaved pattern using your die cutting machine. Our Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine does the job perfectly.
  5. Adhere this layer over the patterned paper layer using Dimensionals.
  6. Adhere your embellishments and greeting. My embellishments are Wonderful Gems and my greeting is gold embossed from the In the Pines stamp set, and cut out with the Stampin' Up! Classic Label Punch.
