Lots of excitement happening today in Stampin' Up!. The NEW 2021 July to December Mini Catalogue (previously called the Holiday Catalogue) starts today, and our second Saleabration promotion of the year starts today too!

NEW Fine Art Floral Suite Birthday Card and the Painted Texture Embossing Folder

Today's card is a birthday card idea featuring the beautiful Fine Art Floral Suite and the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder in the NEW Stampin' Up! 2021 January to June Mini Catalogue (starting in 8 days).

The Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper is my favourite patterned paper in this catalogue. The beautiful hand painted images are so gorgeous. For this card I have also used the coordinating Fine Art ribbon, and the Art Gallery stamp set.

The Painted Texture 3D embossing folder is also part of the suite and is another way to show off the beautiful texture in this suite. I've also added some Linen Thread, Scalloped Lace Trim and Holiday Rhinestones for additional embellishment.

The stamped panel is one of the light coloured sheets on the reverse of the floral patterns. I have stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink (stamped off once) and my birthday sentiment (from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set)  is stamped in Night of Navy. I love these colours together.

Holiday Catalogue / August to December Mini Catalogue coming soon!

Can you beieve we are already in the second half of the year (and what a year it has been!)? Must be getting close to Holiday Catalogue time, right?

This year, the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue is being renamed the August to December Mini Catalogue. It's still full of beautiful products for all tastes and budgets. I love Christmas creating and I am so excited to get into some Christmas creating. As the neame suggests, it also starts in August (August 4th), so I am mailing these out in Australia very soon!

How to get your copy mailed out (Australian residents only):

Your Creative Connection #108: Love is in the Air

Hello lovely crafters from around the world. Welcome back to another Your Creative Connection Global Showcase. Today's theme was chosen by Barbara Meyer and is 'Love Is in the Air'. I love being a part of this showcase with these amazingly talented global demonstrators!

I've chosen the Silhouette Scenes stamp set, and one of the new 2020-22 Stampin' Up! In Colours for my card today. 

When I first started playing with Cinnamon Cider, the new 2020 In Colour I have used as my base card today, I really struggled. Now I totally LOVE the colour. It's such a great warm neutral and coordinates well with many colours. Here's today's colour combination.

I have used the Detailed Hearts Die in two ways to create the extra elements on my card. I embossed the Early Espresso cardstock strip using the die, and then I cut the die from Purple Posy cardstock to give me lots the little hearts (plus the base section and lots of leftovers for another project).

I can't wait to see how the Your Creative Connection team have interpreted this weeks theme. Next up is my lovely friend Dawn Olchefske in Minneapolis, USA,
