Stampin' Up! Tea Together Stamp Set and coordinating Tea Time Dies

Hello stamping friends.

These cards are from a couple of months ago, but I just realised I hadn't blogged them. They are some of the favourite cards I made this year and my Mother and Mother in Law loved them for their Mothers Day cards. They feature the Tea Together stamp set and coordinating Tea Time dies (see the product links at the end of the post).

Stampin Up Tea Together stamp set with Country Lane Embossing Folder from the 2019 Annual Catalogue. Mothers Day card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

They both feature the Country Floral 3D embossing folder. I brayered Sahara Sand ink onto the debossed side of the folder, before I added the Shimmery White die cut cardstock and embossed. This gives you the effect shown - I was going for an antique vase effect.

I then die stamped and die cut the flowers before I watercoloured them with Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive ink.

Here's a closer look at the Tea Together stamp set and Tea Time Dies. You can buy these in my online store using the links below my signature. The Country Floral 3D folder is currently with our new die manufacturer but will be back in stock really soon. Just send me an email if you would like me to let you know when it's back in stock.

Stampin' Up! Mothers Day card with new 2018 Love What You Do and Making a Difference Stamp Sets

Hello. I've been working on Mother's Day cards this week. Sometimes I don't have exactly the right sentiment, but with a couple of the new 2018 Stampin' Up! stamp sets available as part of the Share What You Love bundle, I was able to come up with the perfect sentiment for the card for my Mum.

Stampin Up Share What You Love mothers day card 2018. Claire Daly Melbourne Australia.

I really am lucky to have a Mum like I have. She has taught me strength, resilience, the importance of a close, loyal family and much more. I am so grateful for my Mum.

This is what I started with before I played around with the greeting.

Stampin Up Share What You Love mothers day card 2018. Claire Daly Melbourne Australia.

I have used the stamps from the Love What You Do stamp set which is available for customers to buy this month in the three different Share What You Love Bundles.

149804O1

I have used Powder Pink for my card base and for the flowers, Pear Pizazz for the wreath, and Mint Macaron for the greeting. The cute little pearls are part of the embellishments included in Bundles 1 and 2, the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

Colour MD card

Measurements: My base card is 10.5cm square, and the Whisper White layer is 10 cm square.

Tip: To get the circle shape to stamp the wreath around, I used a pencil to draw inside the largest of my layering circle Framelits.

For my adapted version of this card, I added in some elements from the new 2018 Making a Difference Stampin' Up! stamp set.

The measurements and colours are exactly the same. I have used the floral image from the Making a Difference Stamp Set instead. For the greeting, I chopped up the bits I wanted to use, and then arranged them around the word 'Mum' which I stamped using the alphabet stamps in the set (LOVING the script font in this set). The letters are easy to line up as they are Photopolymer (even for someone with dodgy eyes like me). The little wood heart is an embellishment from the 2017 Annual Catalogue (Hearts and Stars Elements).

The Share What You Love exclusive May bundles are really pretty. Stampin' Up! have included free product gifts in each bundle, and I am also giving away 12 FREE Tutorials, and a 53 swatch colour sampler to anyone who buys any of the 3 bundles from me in May.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a happy day,

Stampin' Up! Indescribable Gift for SB104

Hello lovely people. It's Stamping and Blogging Design Team time, and we have some exciting changes for you this week. From this week's sketch, you can play along and submit your own design link, and be considered for the weekly winners badge. Our new weekly sketch challenge is called Sketch and Stamp, but you will still find us in the same place over at Stamping and Blogging, and that's where you can enter the link to YOUR own creation each week too.

I used this week's sketch to make my Mum her mothers day card using Indescribable Gift from the Occasions Catalogue (this set will not be carrying over to the 2015/16 Annual Catalogue, so make sure you grab it before June 2nd). It's great set for colouring. I have used blender pens and my ink pads to colour here.

Stampin Up Indescribable Gift for SB104 using spotlighting technique. By Claire Daly Melbourne Australia.

You may have picked up that I have used a variation of the spotlighting technique, by overlaying the coloured image section, over the corresponding part of the same image underneath. Usually this is done with a circle image but I quite like how it turned out with the banner cut using the Banner Framelits. I also used the image stamped in crumb cake for subtle decoration on the inside of the card.

Here is the sketch we had to play along with this week.

SB104Now it's time to check out what all the other Stamping and Blogging Design Team members have done with this week's sketch.  Sandi is missing this week, but here are all the other girls and their great creations.
