Stampin' Up! To a Wild Rose Stamp Set 3 ways

Hello crafty friends.

I'm super excited that the new 2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue goes live at 8am AEST (Melbourne time) tomorrow!

One of the new stamp sets that took my fancy, was the To a Wild Rose stamp set. This is a super versatile stamp set, and I even used the greeting on a scrapbook page. It's a 2 or 3 step stamp, and here I have used all three layers: an outline layer in Early Espresso, the base flower in Rococo Rose (stamped off once), and the final highlights layer in Rococo Rose.  I have used Mossy Meadow for the leaves. The base card here is one of the Magnolia Lane Large Memories and More cards which come in a set of 20 with matching envelopes.

I have used the Birch background stamp on one of the new Nested Label Dies (this is a great new shape to add interest to cards). I love that we have some brass embellishments back (top left corner) - these are the Bird Ballad embellishments and there are a few different designs in the pack. I have also used some of the beautiful scalloped linen ribbon which comes in all the five new in colours.

This next card is much simpler, as I have used just 2 layers for the stamp (and also the centre part of the flower). The base flower is Rococo Rose stamped off once, and the highlight layer is Melon Mambo. I used Early Espresso for the flower centre, and Old Olive for the leaves on this one. I stamped my greeting in Early Espresso and have just added 3 metallic pearls to finish this one off.

Finally I have a scrapbook page for you where I have used the To a Wild Rose stamp set for the title.

I have also used some of the bits and pieces from the beautiful Hugs from Shelli Paper Pumpkin kit (now sold out), and some new Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

I hope you have enjoyed tonight's projects. Pop back tomorrow for the links etc for the new catalogue. Until then, stay happy :)

Even though we don't have Paper Pumpkin (yet!) here in Australia, we are excited to have a very special global release kit available from today while supplies last! It's just $37 for supplies (including the stamps and ink) to make 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs) with coordinating envelopes.

Find the 'Hugs from Shelli' kit HERE in my online Stampin' Up! store.

The 'Hugs from Shelli' kit is super special, as it was designed by our Cofounder Shelli Gardner.

Shelli paper pumpkin

The Shelli kit from Paper Pumpkin comes in a beautifully decorated box and includes the following:

  • An exclusive stamp set not available anywhere else
  • One Classic Stampin’ Spot® from our Classic ink collection
  • Paper and crafting materials to create 12 cards (3 cards of 4 unique designs)
  • 12 exclusive, coordinating envelopes
  • Adhesives and embellishments for all 12 cards

While we got to see just one of the four cards and it's printed coordinating envelope at OnStage (see below), the other three card designs are a surprise to demonstrators too! Part of what makes a Paper Pumpkin kit special is that we don’t reveal the projects inside the box ahead of time. This allows the purchaser to experience an element of surprise and excitement when they receive their kit in the mail.

Here's the beautiful sample we got to make at OnStage in Aukland.

Shelli PP 1

I love the beautiful nature theme, the vintage feel of the layering, the soft colours and the combination of textures.

Shelli 2

Coordinating Stampin’ Up! colours: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla

Shelli describes the kit as ‘A touch of earthy and elegant spring with lots of layers and texture.’

And remember, everything in the Hugs from Shelli kit is pre-cut and ready to go. No planning or prep is required . . . which make these kits perfect for a turnkey class or event. The only thing you will need to supply is a Clear Block D size (7.3 x 6.8cm).

Don't delay in getting this beautiful and special Paper Pumpkin kit for just $37.00 today.  Find it HERE in the online store.

Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peeks & Alaska Incentive Trip Part 2

Back today to wrap up my recap of the 2018 Stampin' Up! Alaska Incentive Trip.

First up, I wanted to share some of the fabulous things which were on display in Stampers Base Camp. These were all completely new samples and products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue, which was launched on the trip. The Holiday catalogue products will be available to purchase from September 5th. I'll be sending out copies to my regular customers (and any new customers who place orders with me this month) during August. If you are completely new to Stampin' Up! or your demonstrator is no longer active, you can request a copy from me on my catalogue sign up page.

I love all the beautiful samples we saw on the ship. This is only a small portion of them, but as you can see there is lots of tradition, and traditional colour this year. Let's have a look at some of my favourite samples (these samples were prepared by the Stampin' Up! artists).

There were also reindeers, and Poinsettias ...

Lots of great sets for colouring this year too.

Then were elves!

Also beautiful bundles for layering. As the trip was global, we had samples with some of the translated greetings as well.

Then there was this amazing work of art in a tin!

I really love the kits in this years catalogue too. Here are one of the Christmas card kits, and a tag kit (which comes in a cute tin). These kits would make a great gift.

Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and I especially love Christmas crafting! I can't wait to get started on creating using these beautiful 2018 Holiday Catalogue products, and sharing these projects with you over the coming months.

Stampin' Up! always spoil us with pillow gifts each night, which is very exciting. We received all sorts of amazing things including Holiday Catalogue product, a scratch off world map, logo rug and logo speaker. My two favourite gifts though were our jacket we received on the first night (great to keep us warm on the cool nights and glacier day), and the logo bag. It was easy to spot the demonstrators t the airports on the way home as we were all carrying our lovely new bag.

The jacket came in super handy right up near the glacier!

Then there is the best part of all - the people! The thing I absolutely look forward to the most with each trip is catching up with global Stampin' Up! friends, and making new ones. I had to make a couple of collages here, as there were too many photos I wanted to post.

Before we could blink, the ship had arrived back into Seattle (after a couple of nights of loud fog horns) and it was time to go home. What an amazing experience. I am so grateful to my customers, my team and to work for a company like Stampin' Up!.

As we flew out of Seattle after saying our goodbyes, I was greeted with two more beautiful sights. First I got a wonderful view of snow capped Mt Rainier, and then the moon rising as the sun set on another great Incentive Trip.

I hope you have enjoyed the trip recap. I'll be back tomorrow with a creative post. Until then, stay happy.

Stampin' Up! All Inclusive Lots of Happy Cardmaking Kit

All inclusive kits are one of the first things I always seem to be attracted to in new catalogues, and the lots of Happy Kit in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue is no exception. I think I love the kits because I can grab them and sit at the kitchen table, or even the lounge coffee table and have everything I need in the cute little box, rather than sitting away from the family while I craft. I also love the simplicity and the variety in the kits.

This kit contains everything you need to make 20 cards (envelopes included too) with 4 each of 5 designs. There is a full colour leaflet showing how each card is put together. It even includes the pencils for the colouring. You can also buy refills for the kits too.

Stampin Up Lots of Happy Card KitYou can also play around a little and add some additional colours, like I have with the larger card here (because it looked like olives to me).
