Free 12 sheet Regency Park Paper Pack with Stampin' Up! Petal Park Punch Bundle Purchase

Hello friends, today I have a bright but quick and easy floral card made with the Stampin' Up! Petal Park stamp set and coordinating punch.

Quick and easy floral card with Stampin Up Petal Park

You can use the punch to punch out two different types of stamped flowers, and the punch also can cut out cardstock floral layers, which when put together make a cute dimensional floral image (or use them separately as embellishments).

Stampin Up Petal Park Builder Punch - buy in Australia from Claire Daly

Here's a card I made recently using this Stampin Up Petal Park bundle and the new Radiating Stitches Dies (which aren't in a catalogue but can be found in the new online exclusives section in the website, and either purchased online or directly through me).

Stampin Up Petal Park Card by Claire Daly, Australia

In this instance I have used the stamped flowers in Melon Mambo and cut them out with the punch. I have then popped them up with Dimensionals, and added an Iridescent Rhinestone Embellishment to the centre of each flower. The background leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green, and the sentiment is embossed in white embossing powder onto a label cut out from the Radiating Stitches Dies. I stamped some of the smaller flowers in Basic Grey onto the Basic Grey base card. I like how that carries through the imagery and ties everything together.

Stampin Up Daffodil Daydream 'Just for You' Card with Step-by-Step Instructions

Hi friends,

I made this Daffodil Daydream card on the weekend and couldn't wait to share it with you. The Daffodil Daydream stamp set and bundle is in the 2022 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue, and I have also used the coordinating Daffodil Afternoon DSP. This paper is only available until March 16th as part of Saleabration (earn if FREE with a $90 order before postage).

Stampin Up Daffodil Daydream card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne, Australia.

Step-by-step instructions to make today's card (find any of the products used, by using the links at the end of my post):

  • I started my card with a Petal Pink card base, and then added a layer (10cm x 14.3cm) of Petal Pink which I had embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder (such a gorgeous vintage effect).
  • Next I added a piece of layering vellum 9cm x 12.5cm. This is a new product in the 2022 January Mini catalogue and it's really gorgeous. There are various designs and some are printed in black, some in white. Perfect for adding some additional layers.
  • Then I have added three strips of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP in coordinating patterns. Each strip is 3cm x 13cm.
  • The image is stamped in black Stazon onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. It was cut out using one of the Scalloped Contour dies.
  • To colour the image, I have used my Water Painter, and the following ink colours: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Polished Pink.
  • My greeting is from Celebrating You stamp set in the 2022 Mini Catalogue, and is stamped in black Stazon.
  • I finished off my card with some Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, some Linen Thread and Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots which are a carry over product from last years July to December Mini Catalogue.

More Stampin' Up! NEW Release Ornate Garden Suite cards / Tips for getting a great diecut with the Ornate Layers Dies

Hello lovelies. I hope you are all safe and well and managing OK in social isolation. Today I have some more Ornate Garden suite cards to share with you. This brand new suite of products was only released to customers on 1st April and is an early release of products from the 2020/21 Annua Catalogue which commences on June 3rd.

First up are my customer thankyou cards for this month. I loved making these sweet cards to express my gratitude to customers who support my business. Some months things get crazy, but one of the silver linings for home isolation for me has been time to create in bulk and also more importantly, time to handwrite in cards, and post them. That's where the magic happens, right?

Ornate Garden 2020 bulk thankyou cards by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I used the note cards and envelopes for these cards because they are a great size and a really affordable way to make a bulk lot of cards. I used the Ornate Layers Dies  for the Blushing Bride and Mint  Macaron piece (there are so many other colours that coordinate - see below), There are some tips to getting a great effect when using these dies which I have outlined in my tips. To finish my cards I have used the greeting (stamped in Early Espresso) from Ornate Thanks stamp set (just LOVE all those little script text lines you can add before and after the words), some scalloped lace trim and an adhesive pearl.

Ornate Garden 2020 bulk thankyou cards by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Melbourne Australia

TIP: As I was making the cards in bulk, I wanted to maximise the use of the gorgeous Ornate Garden DSP. I made the DSP piece 4 inches x 3 inches so I could get 12 from one sheet of DSP. To get an even border of notecard around the edge, I cut 1cm (approx 3/8 inch) from one side of the note card. This was quick and easy to do.

TIP: When using the Ornate Layers Dies with my BigShot, I found I got the best result using the Base Platform (which is slightly raised in the centre), the Thin Die Adapter plate and then the die and cardstock between the two acrylic plates. I place the die in the centre of the platform and put it through vertically (so the thinnest end of the rectangle goes through first). Then I just run it through a couple of times and use my Take Your Pick die brush and mat (brush on the reverse side of the die cut) which gets out mot of the 'bits'. The remaining bits are easily poked out with your paper piecer.

Colours which Coordinate with the Ornate Garden DSP: The colours listed by Stampin' Up! as coordinating are: Early Espresso, gold, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Teracotta Tile. Whisper White and a brand new InColour called Bumblebee. I also found So Saffron, Crumb Cake and Blushing Bride to coordinate well. I  evenused Shimmery White for my greeting labels too, which is a little off-white, and that worked. It's a really versatile DSP.

My other Ornate Garden suite card used one of the decorative die cuts from the Ornate Layers Dies (in Blushing Bride) along with a piece of the DSP lined in Early Espresso. The greeting label is from one of my most used die sets for greeting labels, Stitched Labels from the 2019 Annual Catalogue. My greeting (stamped in Early Espresso) is from the So Sentimental stamp set in the 2020 January to June Mini Catalogue. As you can see the Ornate Garden DSP works great with Crumb Cake cardstock. The little flowers on the greeting label are die cut from the Ornate Layers Dies. I have layered 2 scrunched up flowers with a Dimensional foam dot between them, and an adhesive pearl on top. Finally I added a few more pearls below the greeting and in the flower centres on the decorative die cuts. Even though I have the gold Gilded Gems which were a part of this suite, I think adhesive pearls work really well too as the paper has a a bit of a vintage feel to me.

Stampin' Up! Reverse Words for Saleabration 2017 - Four Ways!

Hello there. Today I am showcasing one of the recently released extra Stampin' Up! Saleabration items, the Reverse Words stamp set. Here's four ways to use this stamp set.

For the first two cards, I have teamed it with the Mixed Drinks stamp set (see links below) - it has some great images and sentiments which match the cheers theme! I particularly love this sentiment. My colours here are Smoky Slate and Sweet Sugarplum with Basic Black. I love how the Reverse Words stamp sets so cleverly combines the watercolour wash look with the crispness of the reverse word.

For this card, I have made a cocktail using lots of stamps from the Mixed Drinks stamp set (so easy to line up with the photopolymer). Another great greeting to match the cheers theme. My reverse word is stamped in Sweet Sugarplum and I have used Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry on the cocktail.

Stampin Up Reverse Words (Saleabration 2017) and Mixed Drinks stamp set. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

This one is a birthday card which was super easy to make. I just punched a couple of balloons from the Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper using the Balloon Punch. The greeting is from the Custom Tee stamp set. I just made the balloon strings using a Project Life marker. My ink colour here is Mint Macaron.

I've needed lots of these cards for my awesome team and their promotions this month. It was quick and easy to create. The sentiment is from the Mixed Drinks stamp set and the reverse word is in Mint Macaron again. I used the Medium Star Punch to cut a star from the Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper and attached some silver sequin trim.
