Stampin Up Inked and Tiled Patchwork Pieces Card

Today I have a patchwork 'hello' card for you, using the new Inked and Tiled stamp set and Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper from the 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I was really drawn to the beautiful imagery in these products, and also really LOVE the versatile sentiments and gorgeous modern font. I have already used this stamp set SO much for sentiments.

Stampin Up Inked and Tiled stamp set with Patchwork Pieces Dies

The Inked and Botanical Designer Series Paper (on special this month for 15% off) coordinates perfectly with this stamp set. The Stampin' Up! artists used real pressed flowers and foliage in the process of designing these products. They inked them up and pressed them down, which is why we have such amazing representation of texture. Here's a closer look at the stamp set and DSP (which is a 6x6" pack, so you get 48 sheets - 4 each of 12 double sided designs).

First up the stamp set. Look at those gorgeous designs and sentiments. I would regularly use every one of those sentiments. You can find the Inked and Tiled stamp set HERE in my online store.

Here is the Inked Botanicals DSP. The coordinating colours are Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Petal Pink and Pool Party. Love these colours together and will definitely need more of this paper!

Stampin Up Inked Botanicals DSP - available from Claire Daly in Australia

For my card I started with a Crushed Curry cardstock base, and added one of the monochrome Crushed Curry floral DSP pieces as the first layer. I created the nifty stitched patchwork pattern by using a handy new die set in the Annual Catalogue called Patchwork pieces. I cut two of the die cuts - one in the Crushed Curry polka dot pattern and the other in the Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry floral on Very Vanilla pieces. Then I just alternated them. and adhered then to a Calypso Coral base.

Here's a look at the Patchwork Pieces Die.

I stamped the image and sentiment onto Very Vanilla. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry to ink up the stamp (don't forget to 'huff' on it to re-moisten the ink before stamping) and then stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon. I cut the image out with the 2 & 3/8" circle punch, and then adhered that onto a 2 & 1/2" circle of Calypso Coral. That was adhere with Dimensionals (as was the patchwork layer) and then I embellished with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Free 12 sheet Regency Park Paper Pack with Stampin' Up! Petal Park Punch Bundle Purchase

Hello friends, today I have a bright but quick and easy floral card made with the Stampin' Up! Petal Park stamp set and coordinating punch.

Quick and easy floral card with Stampin Up Petal Park

You can use the punch to punch out two different types of stamped flowers, and the punch also can cut out cardstock floral layers, which when put together make a cute dimensional floral image (or use them separately as embellishments).

Stampin Up Petal Park Builder Punch - buy in Australia from Claire Daly

Here's a card I made recently using this Stampin Up Petal Park bundle and the new Radiating Stitches Dies (which aren't in a catalogue but can be found in the new online exclusives section in the website, and either purchased online or directly through me).

Stampin Up Petal Park Card by Claire Daly, Australia

In this instance I have used the stamped flowers in Melon Mambo and cut them out with the punch. I have then popped them up with Dimensionals, and added an Iridescent Rhinestone Embellishment to the centre of each flower. The background leaves are stamped with Granny Apple Green, and the sentiment is embossed in white embossing powder onto a label cut out from the Radiating Stitches Dies. I stamped some of the smaller flowers in Basic Grey onto the Basic Grey base card. I like how that carries through the imagery and ties everything together.

Here's another sample from the Stampin' Up! concept artists.

Stampin' Up! Hello Irresistible Suite - New 2023 Online Exclusive Release

Today I wanted to take a deeper dive into some of the Online Exclusive products, particularly the Stampin' Up! Hello Irresistible suite of products. One of the perks of being a demonstrator is the early preorder of some products and this was one of the suites I had the ,chance to play with over the last month (well as much as possible with a broken wrist!).

The suite comprises the Irresistible Blooms bundle, the Hello Irresistible DSP and the Loose Frosted Dots. Coordinating colours for the DSP re Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. The last two colours are returning InColors from several years ago. They are part of the Colour Refresh which was announced today and for which more information will become available on March 30th. If you don't have those colours for now, Soft Succulent is a good replacement.

Here's a look at the Hello Irresistible Suite - find it HERE in the online store (in the new Online Exclusives section).

Stampin Up Hello Irresistible Suite

Here's a closer look at the paper pack, which has 48 sheets of 6x6" double sided paper. I really like this paper!

Stampin Up Hello Irresistible DSP

Here's how my first card with this suite turned out. I made this one before I broke my wrist. I really like the font in the Irresistible blooms stamp set, and 'hello' cards are one of my favourite types to make as I use a lot of them with team members and customers.

Stampin Up Hello Irresistible 2023 hello card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

I didn't have the two colours that are coming back, but Soft Succulent worked beautifully with this sheet of the DSP. I used the circle die cut and Soft Sea Foam cardstock, and made a few snips with my paper snips to remove it from the outside frame so I had a stand alone die cut embellishment.

Stampin Up Irresistible Blooms

The flowers are actually die cut from another sheet of the DSP - so easy! and there are dies for 2 sizes of flowers, as well as dies to cut out the leaves shape and also some additional outline leaves dies which I used to cut my leaves from Soft Succulent.

Stampin Up Hello Irresistible

My sentiment is stamped in Soft Succulent and I have attached some of the Flirty Flamingo Loose Frosted Dots to finish the card.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms 2023 Card

Here's another card I made AFTER I broke my wrist and had to keep things a little more simple. Just a Flirty Flamingo base card, two strips of DSP cut and interchanged, a die cut label, sentiment and embellishments.

Stampin' Up! Irresistible Blooms 2023 Thank You Card

My sentiment is stamped in Polished Pink ink, and I have used a stitched Rectangle die  and some more of the Flirty Flamingo Loose Frosted Dots.

Stampin' Up! Hello Irresistible Thank You card

I hope you like today's cards using the Stampin' Up! Hello Irresistible Suite. You can find this suite in the Online Exclusives section (use the button below) together with a range of other brand new products!

Stampin' Up! Painted Posies Embossing Folder with Masked Artistically Inked Stamp Set

Hello friends.

Today I wanted to show you a beautiful new embossing folder from the 2022 Annual Catalogue. It's called Painted Posies and it's a 3D 6x6" folder. I have used it on this card.

Stampin Up Painted Posies embossing folder and Artistically Inked. Masking video tutorial. Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia.

The pattern is so pretty and gives a crisp imprint on the Melon Mambo cardstock. I love how the embossing foliage and flowers climb up the card. Embossing is a great way to add a wow to a card without a lot of expense.

Stampin Up Painted Posies embossing folder and Artistically Inked. Masking video tutorial. Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia.

The stamped panel on this one is from Artistically Inked. The flower is stamped in Polished Pink and the leaves and sentiment in Old Olive. The die cut shape is from Stylish Shapes dies which are new this year. I used the masking technique, shown in the video below, to stamp the leaves behind the flower.

Stampin Up Painted Posies embossing folder and Artistically Inked. Masking video tutorial. Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia.

Here's a masking video I made recently, which shows 6 different masking techniques, and 5 cards, including this one.

I hope you like today's card. You can find all of the products I have used in my online store, or the paper copy of the Annual Catalogue. You can either order online, or direct with me via email, phone or text (you can read about three ways to shop with me HERE).  When you shop online with me in Australia, and use the monthly Host Code, you also qualify for a small thank you gift mid the month after your purchase. Introducing NEW Stampin' Up! Tahitian Tide with Paradise Palms stamp set

Hello friends. It' time to dee dive into another one of the 2022 new Stampin' Up! InColors. Today we are looking at Tahitian Tide.  Just 10 days until Annual Catalogue launch day and the maunch of these fabulous new colours - woohoo!

Tahitian Tide is a bright turquoise blue. Here is how it looks with some of our other current Stampin' Up! colours. As you can see, Tahitian Tide has similar tones to Pacific Point.

Stampin Up 2022 InColor Tahitian Tide

For my card, I have used Tahitian Tide and a blending brush to create an ocean background for my beach themes card. I love this blue!

Stampin Up Tahitian Tide with Paradise Palms Stamp Set. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne, Australia.

My focal image is from Paradise Palms stamp set. This debuted in the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue, but will also be carrying over to the new 2022 Annual Catalogue (but the bundle pricing won't be available, so if you want the bundle, grab it before the end of June so you save 10%). I originally stamped the greeting directly over the palm trees, but it got kind of lost, so I cut out a separate piece. I like the way the ripped edge exposing the white cardstock looks like the wave foam. Did you notice I have also used the 'coming soon' Stylish Shapes dies for the stitched circle?

Stampin Up Tahitian Tide with Paradise Palms Stamp Set. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator, Melbourne, Australia.

I have used the direct to rubber marker technique to colour the palm trees, with the trunks in Soft Suede and the branches in Garden Green. For the ground, I have used Soft Suede stamped off once. This year we also have bi-colour bakers twine in each of the InColours. I have combined the Tahitian Tide and White one, with Linen Thread for the embellishment on my card. Unfortunately one of my Champagne Rhinestones fell off before photographing, so you will just have to imagine there is another one there to the bottom right of the sentiment.

Here's a look at the colour combination for this card.
