Stampin' Up! Australia: Sneak peeks from the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue. NEW Blessings from Home bundle.

Hello friends. Last weekend demonstrators got to see the first peek of the 2022 Stampin' Up! Australia January to June Mini Catalogue. Yeah!! This catalogue, along with the first Saleabration for 2022 commence on January 3rd. If you are a regular customer, you will already be on my list to mail out the catalogues during December. If you don't have a demonstrator you do regular business with, you can request to have copies sent out for free too. Just go HERE and submit your details and you will be on the list.

In the lead up to the event, and afterwards, we got to play with some of the products. Here's a card I created using Blessings of Home bundle, and Heart and Home Designer Series Paper (both from the new catalogue).

The paper I have used for the sentiment label, is the reverse of one of the DSP sheets. In fact all of the 6 patterns (you get 2 sheets of each) have a light woodgrain pattern on the reverse, adding to the versatility.

Stampin Up 2021 Christmas Cards: Poinsettia Petals for Heart of Christmas Week 1

I'm excited that our Art with Heart Team Christmas themed blog hop is back for another year. From today right through until mid December, we will be providing Christmas card inspiration for you every Monday night. This year it will also be a true blog hop format, so much easier to navigate and see all the wonderful inspiration.

I'm using one of my favourite stamp sets that carried over to the Stampin Up Australia 2021 Annual Catalogue: Poinsettia Petals, along with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies. I used these two products so much last year and I absolutely love them. I have given them a new life for a 2021 Christmas card, by combining it with some brand new products.

The new products I have used are (links at end of post to take you to these products in the online store):

Soft Succulent cardstock (one of the new 2021-23 Stampin' Up' InColors) as the base.
The gorgeous new Tidings of Christmas DSP from the Annual Catalogue. This paper is 15% off right now in our DSP sale.
Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (I have used the gold on this project) cut with the Encircled in Beauty Dies for the piece underneath the Poinsettia
Evening Evergreen Ink to stamp the greeting onto the Soft Succulent cardstock.

The poinsettia layers are embossed in gold onto Shimmery White cardstock and layered together, and over the gold decorative circle, with Dimensionals. I have added in some foliage cut with the Poinsettia Dies from Soft Succulant cardstock. To finish my card off I added in some Champagne Rhinestones which were the perfect colour for my project.

Watercoloured Poinsettia 2020 Slimline Christmas Card using Stampin Up Poinsettia Petals

Hello crafty friends. Today I have another slimline card for you, a 2020 Christmas card using Stampin' Up! Poinsettia Petals bundle from the 2020 Stampin' Up! August to December Mini Catalogue. The whole Poinsettia Place Suite is so pretty!

For my card, I started with a 21cm x 10cm slimline Crumb Cake card base and I added a layer of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. This has a luscious flocked design on vellum and is so pretty, plus adds great texture. I've added more texture by looping some Braided Linen Trim below where I planned for my flower and greeting to go.

To create my flower, I gold embossed the three different sized poinsettia's from the Poinsettia Petal stamp set onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (links below). I then spritzed with water and used then added watery ink from the lid of my ink pad (created this by dropping a couple of drops of water into the ink residue in the lid - just make sure you wipe with a paper towel when finished so you don't dilute your ink pad). Becuae the watercolor paper is wet, the colour quickly spreads and you get a random distribution of the colour. I love this messy watercolour look. I used tw colours on the flower, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler.

I layered these together with a Dimensional between each layer and the gorgeous Beaded Pearls (links below) as the flower centre.

Here's a closer look at the gorgeous Beaded Pearl flower centres. You get 18 pieces in a pack and they are approximately 1.3cm wide.

I watercoloured some leaves from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set, and die cut some berrie sprigs in metallic brushed gold to add some bling. Love how all the layers look when they are put together.

Slimline cards are fun to make. There's a little more real estate to play with, but don't let that scare you.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Peacock with copper embossing

Good morning everyone. Today's share is another take on the Stampin' Up! 2018 Saleabration stamp set Beautiful Peacock. I wanted to get a bit more elaborate with those beautiful plumes. Don't forget you can earn this stamp set free during Saleabration (or other choices instead) when you spend $90 during Saleabration. Learn more about Saleabration here.

I've combined Emerald Envy, Powder Pink and Copper Embossing plumes with the main Tranquil Tide stamping of the peacock. I also added in some copper embellishments, which I made by colouring adhesive pearls with the Bronze Stampin Blends alcohol marker.

Here's the colour combination I have used today (in addition to the copper embossing). The Tranquil Tide felt bow embellishment was a perfect finish for this card.
