Heart of Christmas Week 9 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Hello friends, welcome to week 9 of the Art With Heart Team Heart of Christmas blog hop. Today I a playing with the Feathers and Frost stamp set from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. I thought this bird was super cute, and perfect for an Australian Christmas with it's likeness to the red-breasted Robin.

My colour combination for today's card is Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler, Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip. The leaves and berries were coloured with Stampin' Blends, the bird with ink, and I also used an Early Espresso water-colour pencil along the back of the bird.

Stampin Up, colour, color, combination, 2018. mint macaron, cherry cobbler, sahara sand, crumb cake, early espresso, claire daly, melbourne, auatraliaThe Mint Macaron circle is from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and the punched shape the bird is stamped on, comes from the Darling Label Punch Box in the Annual Catalogue, which is a bundle of punch, stamp set and mini ink pads. You can view all of these products in the links below my post which will take you to my online Stampin' Up! store.

Heart of Christmas Week 8 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

Welcome to Week 8 of our Heart of Christmas weekly blog hops. I'm actually having a week off this week as I enjoy the second week of school holidays with my boys and my Mum and sister who are visiting from interstate. One of my team members (Ros Davidson)  is hosting the blog hop names, and I will refer you to her blog at the end of my post.

For today's card, I am showing you another way to use the copper wire star embellishments. I really love these, and the coordinating Joyous Noel DSP with the lovely copper foil accents.

Wire stars 1

I have copper embossed my image, so that it coordinates with the DSP. I love the look of the Merry Merlot shimmer paper with the DSP too. To attach the wire stars, I used some Tear 'n Tape double sided tape for the pieces that would be under the circle (this did most of the work), and then a glue dot for the bit that was showing.

Wire stars 2

Now it's time to head over to Ros Davidson's blog as Ros is hosting the blog hop this week while I take a week off.

Thanks for stopping by this week. Have a happy and creative week,

Claire

Heart of Christmas Week 7 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

Today for our Heart of Christmas blog hop, I have recreated a fabulous swap card from my recent Stampin' Up! trip to Alaska. The card was by Jill Taylor, our VP of sales at Stampin' Up! in Utah. Here s Jill's card:

Jill

I adapted it to our C6 size card, and used patterned paper instead of ribbon for the banner.

I'm really in love with the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper. I love the neutral Grey Granite background, and the copper foil highlights are great for some extra Christmas wow. It looks great with the coordinating colours of Shaded Spruce (my new go to green) and Merry Merlot, a deep burgundy red.

Heart of Christmas Week 6 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

Welcome to Week 6 of Heart of Christmas. I have a bright and fun card for you today, that would be easy to make multiples of. The base of my card is the silver foil lined cards and envelopes available in the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue (they are also available in gold foil edged). You get 20 cards and envelopes in the pack for just $16.50.

Stampin Up, Making Christmas Bright, Bulb Builder Punch, 2018 Holiday Catalogue. Christmas card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I have used the Making Christmas Bright bundle of photopolymer stamp set and the Bulb Builder Punch for my card. This is such a fun bundle and very versatile too, with several different variations of greeting and decorations. It's also one of the cheapest bundles in the Holiday Catalogue!

Heart of Christmas Week 5 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

Today's Heart of Christmas Week 5 card is perfect for a Australian summer Christmas. It comes from a fun stamp set in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue, called So Santa. This was my original version, coloured with Stampin' Blends.

Stampin Up So Santa stamp set Christmas Card. From 2018 Holiday Catalogue. Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

After I photographed and edited the pic, I decided to add some Granny Apple Green 1/2" ribbon, so this snap is a quick one in my craft room. I think I prefer the addition of the ribbon, what do you think?

I had fun colouring this image with my Stampin' Blends, although was worried my Santa was looking a little anaemic, lol.  How fabulous is the Swirls and Curls embossing folder though?

There are some other fun images in this set, which I am looking forward to making into projects over the coming weeks.
