Hello. Well we did it, 27 weeks of Christmas inspiration in our very first Heart of Christmas series from the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! team. Today is week 27, and our last post of the series.

This week I am showcasing another super simple reproducible card, that still has some wow factor thanks to the embossing and foiled paper.

Stampin Up 2017 Christmas card using Year of Cheer DSP, Everyday Label Punch and Watercolor Christmas stamp se. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.t.

The base is Crumb Cake cardstock and a piece of the beautiful Year of Cheer DSP for the next layer. I have used the Everyday Label punch to cut my greeting. The greeting is from Watercolor Christmas stamp set and it has been embossed in silver. I recommend to stamp and emboss first and then punch it out. The piece of gold foil behind the label is measured 4cm x 4,3cm (or 1 5/8" x 2 11/16"). Then you just need about 27-30cm of Gold Mini Sequin Trim for under the label and three Adhesive Rhinestone Jewels scattered around.

Stampin' Up! Merry Music Specialty DSP for Art with Heart Team HOC26

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. Today is the second last week of my Art with Heart team girls Heart of Christmas series for 2017. This is week 26.

It's getting to the point where many people are in need of super quick and easy Christmas cards which can easily be done in a batch, and this week's card definitely fits this criteria.

2017 Christmas card using peace This Christmas stamp set, Merry Music DSP, Merry Little Christmas DSP. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

You need three pieces of coordinating DSP. I have used Merry Music Specialty DSP and Merry Little Christmas DSP but you could use any coordinating papers. The base card is 1/2 A$ cardstock cut vertically to make a standard C6 top folding card. The measurements for each piece of DSP are:

  • Left: 1 13/16" wide by 5 5/8" long or 4.6cm x 14.2cm
  • Top right: 2" wide x 3.5" long or 5.1cm x 8,8cm
  • Bottom right: 2" wide x 2" long; or 5.1cm x 5.1cm

The centre circle is 2.5" diameter and the stamped greeting is rom one of the Christmas sets in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, Peace This Christmas. I have used a variety of embellishments around the greetings including Metallic Enamel Shapes, Glitter Enamel Shapes and Adhesive Rhinestone Jewels. For the Silver Mini Sequin Trim, you need about 30-35cm under each circle.

Stampin' Up! Year of Cheer DSP for Art with Heart team Heart of Christmas #25

Hello ladies, it's time to bring you this week's Heart of Christmas inspiration piece.

Graphic

Today my card is based on the foiled specialty paper Year of Cheer. This is a beautiful paper for Christmas and has silver, platinum, gold and copper foiling through it.  My greeting is from the Hearts Come Home stamp set and is embossed in Copper to match the small piece of Year of Cheer DSP underneath. The base card is Crumb Cake.

The largest circle is cut from Platinum foil paper (in the Holiday Catalogue) with the 2 & 1/4" punch and the smaller circle which has the greeting on it is cut with the 1 & 3/4" circle punch. Other than that it's just a bit of silver mini sequin trim.

Stampin' Up! Snowflake Sentiments for Art With Heart team HOC 24

Hello ladies. Today the Art with Heart Team is bringing you week 24 of Heart of Christmas.

Graphic

Today's card is created using the Snowflake Sentiments bundle from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. I really like the simplicity of this card.

Stampin Up Snowflake Sentiments stamp set and Swirly Snowflakes Thinlits. Christmas card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Before I cut the snowflakes, I created a watercolour wash using Pool Party and Island Indigo ink on watercolor paper. Once it was throughly dry (with the help of my trusty heat tool), I cut the snowflakes from pieces which had variations in colour (tip: the biggest snowflake is from the border die piece and 'detached' with paper snips). Then it was just a matter of attaching them with a glue dot and embellishing with Glimmer Dots and adhesive Rhinestones. My greeting from Snowflake Sentiments is heat embossed in silver.

Stampin' Up! Hearts Come Home for Heart of Christmas #23

Hello ladies, time for this week's Heart of Christmas inspiration post bought to you by the Art with Heart team.

Graphic

This week I have used up a left over piece from the Hometown Greetings Edgelit dies in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. It just fitted into the largest oval shape from the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Stampin Up Hearts Come Home and Hometown Edgelits Christmas Card 2017. Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I have watercoloured the piece of watercolor paper behind the edgelits using Island Indigo ink. When that was dry I stamped the sleigh in Island Indigo, and placed it behind the card which I had embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. My greeting is from Merry Patterns, and then finished off with some Night of Navy crinkled seam binding.
