Guest Blogger: Rachel Woollard and Brusho

Today we have the second of my guest bloggers for the week, Rachel Woollard (Handstamped by Rachel). Rachel is going to show you some fabulous creations using Brusho, which was a new product introduced in the Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalogue.

I met Rachel at a craft show in my very first year as a demonstrator. She soon became a regular customer, and soon after a demonstrator on my team. Rachel would have been with me 10 years in June this year. We love having Rachel in the team and she has become a good friend. We often get together and stamp and her little one (now her big one) used to sleep on my couch while we stamped! Rachel has built a great little team of her own and is now one of my Silver Elite Demonstrators. As well as being a great leader, she is very creative and runs regular Stampin' Up! classes in Ringwood East. Here's what she has coming up over the following months:

Sat 3rd Feb 1-4pm
Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Class
$18.

Thurs 8th Feb 12.30-3pm
Fancy Cards Cards

Sat 10th Feb 1-4pm

Email [email protected] for questions or to reserve your place.

Rachel has been working hard on getting to know the Brusho products which we introduced into the Occasions Catalogue. I love all the fabulous effects she has achieved on these cards.

Guest Stampin' Up! Blogger Ros Davidson showcasing Fabulous Flamingo

This week I am having a few days family time, so I have asked a couple of my long term Art With Heart team members to be guest bloggers.

Today we have Ros Davidson, who celebrated her 10 year anniversary with my team and Stampin' Up! in September 2017. Ros is my longest serving team member and is a fabulous friend, as well as being super creative at both memory keeping and card making.  Ros has been running Stampin' Up! classes for many years in Skye (south east suburb of Melbourne). If you live close by, check out the fabulous range of classes Ros offers.

Make sure you also head over to Ros's blog to check out her amazing creations!

Here's Ros's guest post:

Hi, I’m Ros Davidson and while Claire is off enjoying some family time I have jumped at the chance to guest blog for you today. I am sharing a fabulous flamingo card which I really enjoyed making and had a go at making a stepped up version also.

Using the palm tree leaf stamp from fabulous flamingo, I created my own designer series paper stamping in tranquil tide, emerald envy and lemon lime twist onto whisper white cardstock.

The basic version of the card works great for many occasions as no sentiment has been added. I can see it as a new baby girl card, for you card, happy birthday card and much more.

The stepped up version has gold embossing for a touch of added class along with a birthday sentiment and metallic enamel shapes.

I’ve carried the hand stamped designer series paper inside the card and finished it off with stamps from confetti celebration stamp set.

Thanks Claire for the chance to share my creations with your readers.
