How to Make Folded Christmas Tree Cards - Free Tutorial

Hey friends. Today I have a free tutorial on how to make handmade folded paper Christmas tree cards. Isn't it the cutest little tree ? It's easy to make and requires very little supplies. I have used the Stampin' Up! Stitched Shapes dies and Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper from the 2020 July to December mini catalogue for mine, but you could cut a circle shape another way and use any paper you had available.

I made two different versions, one basic one, and another more 'stepped up'. The sentiment is from one of my all time favourite Christmas sentiment sets, Itty Bitty Christmas (linked at end of post). I stamped the sentiment three times without reinking, on the bottom right of each envelope as well. Love how that turned out.

Here's a closer look at the more basic of the two cards.

Here's the stepped up version where I added Champagne Rhinestones, added some coiled gold cord and folded the edge of the patterned paper.

I think the stitched edge of the tree really adds to the effect.

The cards are really quick and easy to make, Great for beginners or you can dress them up some more.

Metric Measurements for a Slimline Card, and a free Slimline DIY Envelope Template to Download.

Hello friends,

Today I have for you a slimline card idea including metric measurement details to cut from a piece of A4 cardstock. I have also designed an easy template for free download to make both the card, and also your own DIY slimline envelope. I have used the Stampin' Up! Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper from the 2020 August to December Mini Catalogue for my card and envelope. Metric Measurements and Free Template Download for a Slimline Card

My slimline cards are 21cm x 10 cm when folded. This size fits into a standard DL envelope and be cut from one A4 piece of cardstock.

Metric Measurements and Free Template Download for a Slimline Card DIY Envelope

I made a DIY Slimline Envelope in the same patterned paper. You need a piece of patterned paper 24xm x 27cm for this.

I stamped an image from Forever Fern Stamp Set onto the bottom right of the envelope, in Crumb Cake ink. I really love how that coordinated with the card.

For the actual slimiline card, the main focus is the beautiful copper foiled piece of Gilded Autumn DSP. This is 8cm x 20cm. I then added a sentiment label (one end cut with the Labels Pick a Punch), a copper foil cardstock die cut, a punched circle and some linen thread. Free PDF Tutorial for a Stampin' Up! Triangle Fancy Fold World of Good Suite / Beautiful World Bundle Card

Today I have a card which would be perfect for the men in your life, someone about to go travelling, or even a graduate. It's a very cool Triangle Fancy Fold where you can make two cards to an A4 piece of card. I have used the World of Good Product Suite from the 2020-21 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

This card is so simple to make, and I have provided all the measurements and step by step instructions in the downloadable PDF tutorial later in the post.

The project used the gorgeous World Of Good Product Suite which is perfect for masculine cards and travel themed projects.

I love the earthy colours and brass foiling in the World of Good Designer Series Paper. I think this is my favourite paper in the 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

The embellishments and stamped and die cut elements add lots of texture and interest to the card. The rectangle stamped panel folds up with the top triangle piece.

The Beautiful World Bundle which is part of this World of Good Product Suite contains lots of great sentiments, images and die cuts.

I particularly love these Antiqued corners and slides. The brushed bronze look really fits with the earthy vibe of the suite.

Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden Easel Card

Hello stampers :)

Demonstrators and customers alike are LOVING the gorgeous new Ornate Garden suite from the 2020/21 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. It's so beautiful for layering and edging, and the colours of the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper are so beautiful and warm. The patterns are described as classic Victorian florals and I definitely agree.

My base card is Terracotta Tile, one of last years Incolours. I am really loving this colour lately, and it features a lot in the Ornate Garden Designer Series Paper. I really love the look of the vellum cut with the Ornate Layer Dies and how that softens the look as well. You can see all of the products I have used on today's card in the links at the end of the post.

I'm so glad the Detailed Bands dies are carrying over as I use them a lot to add a simple wow to cards. I have also used the greeting from the coordinating Band Together stamp set on this card.

Stampin' Up! Parisian Blooms Amour Card

Hello lovelies. Back with some more creations from the Stampin' Up! 2020 January to June mini catalogue and Saeabration catalogue.

Today I have another Paris themed card for you, which I created for my team card swap. I have used the Parisian Beauty Bundle. Unfortunately this isn't the best photo, as the tower looks grey or black, when really it's die cut foil cardstock in silver.

My base card and die cut word are in Petal Pink and the collage stamping is in Pool Party ink, with Basic Grey for the additional word stamping. I really like the script and 2 post mark stamps in the Parisian Beauty stamp set. They are great for backgrounds and collage stamping.

Also wanted to give you a sneak peek today of the fun fold card that my customers and subscribers received as their free PDF tutorial last weekend. I was delighted how this one turned out. It uses products from the Saleabration catalogue (Lovely Lily Pad stamp set, Lily Pad dies, Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper) but you could easily substitute other products.
