Hello. With just over 3 weeks left until Easter, some of the girls in my Art With Heart Stampin' Up! team thought we would share some Easter creative inspiration with you. Of course that also meant I needed to head off to my local supermarket to get some suitable props for my photos. How cute is the rabbit (it says, "nawwww, somebody loves you" when you press it's tummy") and I love the speckled eggs!
I'm so lucky to have an amazing group of friendly, supportive and creative girls on my team. My Stampin' up! journey would be nothing without them, I'm very grateful. All the girls on the hop today can help you with your Stampin' Up! needs.
If you place an order with any of us during Sale-a-bration (ends March 31st), you can choose a free item with every $90 you spend in one transaction. There are lots of fabulous free items to choose from (ask me for a brochure and an Occasions Catalogue) and the promotion will end on 31st March. When you join during Sale-a-bration, you get to choose whatever you like from our catalogues, but pay just $169 for $235 worth of product (that’s a huge discount!) but also you get to choose between two free product options. It’s quick and easy to join online too. Ask me how!
You have come to my blog from my lovely friend, Nikki Sadler.
Here's some more information about my projects. The easter card uses the Happy Easter Bunny Stamp Set, with the Dictionary Background Stamp randomly stamped in the background to give a distressed effect.
I embossed my image in White, and then used blender pens to colour the image. I used Crumb cake ink straight onto the Crumb Cake card stock for the bunny, and Pear Pizzazz the same way for the leaves. When I wanted to create a pastel effect, I used white craft ink first (allow to dry or blast with your heat gun) and then added colour over the top. Here's a summary of the products used on this card (AC means it's in the Annual Catalogue, OC means Occasions Catalogue).

My second project is a decorated cafe bag, perfect for holding mini eggs. Again I went for a vintage feel here with the Dictionary background stamp used with uneven pressure (I put the bag on top of the stamp and lightly pressed in a few different places). I have also used the For Peeps Sake stamp set which is in the Occasions Catalogue and has some really fun Easter images.
