Flower Tulips Vellum Thank You Card

Hello friends. Today is all about flowers, and tulips at that! I am using the Stampin' Up! Flowering Tulips bundle from the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue. In Australia we are now into Autumn and I will soon be planting my tulips and other bulbs for my Spring and Winter flowers.

The Flowering Tulips bundle includes a stamp set and a set of dies which cuts out images, but also includes some dies to make 3D tulips, including layering petals for three different tulips, the flower stem and leaves.

On this card I have also used the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper. When a paper is quite bold as this one is, I often use vellum to soften some of the paper. That provides me with a focal point for the flower. To adhere the vellum, I used a cotton bud to smear a really thin layer of Multipurpose Glue on the paper until it was just tacky, and then placed the vellum on top. It adheres without the glue being visible through the vellum.

My flower is cut with Petal Pink cardstock and the petals sponged with Poppy Parade, to coordinate with the colours in the paper. My base card is Pool Party. To embellish my card I have used Linen Thread and Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins.

Stampin' Up! New Horizon DSP & Grove Dies

Hello friends. Today I have a 'hello' card for you. I find these very handy to have on hand to send with catalogues to new customers or just to say hello to team members, friends and family. Today I have used the New Horizons DSP as the star of my card, with some elements from the Grove Dies. Both of these products are new in the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue.

My base card is Evening Evergreen, and I have just added a layer of the gorgeous New Horizons Designer Series Paper (see below), followed by a couple of die-cut deer from the Grove Dies (see below). I have added a 'Tammy Style Bow' as made famous by the amazing Tammy Wilson of Stamps, Paper, Scissors. I love the added texture this gives the card. My bow contains Evening Evergreen open weave ribbon (cut in half horizontally), the gold metallic twine from the Simply Elegant Trim pack, and Linen Thread. I think one of my favourite parts of this card, is the self adhesive pebbles. These Pebble Enamel Embellishments (see below) are fabulous for creating scenes and added texture on your cards.

Stampin' Up! Daffodil Daydream Mothers Day Cards + how to put the Daffodil Dies Together

Hi friends. Today I am back with 2 more Daffodil cards, both Mothers Day cards using the gorgeous Daffodil Daydream bundle again. I also have some pictures which show you how to put the Daffodil Dies together.

Here's my first card.

It's very simple because the die-cut daffodil does all the work. There are 3 different daffodils that can be made up with the Daffodil Dies. Here are the diagrams showing how you make up each one. You can vary up the colours to whites and pinks too.

For the rest of the card, I have used the Saleabration Daffodil Afternoon DSP (only available as a FREE pick with a $90 order up until March 16th, so don't miss out!) and the gorgeous soft white frayed ribbon. My greeting is from Celebrating You stamp set, and I have punched the ends of the label using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. For my second card, I have used a piece of the paper as the focus to my card. This card was so simple but I love how it turned out.

My base card is Petal Pink and I have a popped a very thin mat of Flirty Flamingo cardstock around the black patterned layer. to add a pop of colour. The greeting is from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set, and this time I have used the Double Oval punch. I've also popped some of our gorgeous Brass Butterflies on this card as an embellishment.

Stampin Up Daffodil Daydream 'Just for You' Card with Step-by-Step Instructions

Hi friends,

I made this Daffodil Daydream card on the weekend and couldn't wait to share it with you. The Daffodil Daydream stamp set and bundle is in the 2022 Stampin' Up! Mini Catalogue, and I have also used the coordinating Daffodil Afternoon DSP. This paper is only available until March 16th as part of Saleabration (earn if FREE with a $90 order before postage).

Step-by-step instructions to make today's card (find any of the products used, by using the links at the end of my post):

I started my card with a Petal Pink card base, and then added a layer (10cm x 14.3cm) of Petal Pink which I had embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder (such a gorgeous vintage effect).
Next I added a piece of layering vellum 9cm x 12.5cm. This is a new product in the 2022 January Mini catalogue and it's really gorgeous. There are various designs and some are printed in black, some in white. Perfect for adding some additional layers.
Then I have added three strips of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP in coordinating patterns. Each strip is 3cm x 13cm.
The image is stamped in black Stazon onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. It was cut out using one of the Scalloped Contour dies.
To colour the image, I have used my Water Painter, and the following ink colours: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Polished Pink.
My greeting is from Celebrating You stamp set in the 2022 Mini Catalogue, and is stamped in black Stazon.
I finished off my card with some Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim, some Linen Thread and Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots which are a carry over product from last years July to December Mini Catalogue.

Heart of Christmas Week 22: Stampin' Up! One Sheet Wonder

It's our last week of Heart of Christmas for the Art with Heart Team in 2022, so I wanted to make sure I joined in. I have used a One Sheet Wonder template that our wonderful Demonstrator Development Managers shared with us when they held a Craftalongathon for Australian and New Zealand Demonstrators. There are lots of different one sheet wonder cutting templates floating around and they make it quick and easy to make a bunch of cards.

All of the DSP I have used in these four cards came from one 6x6" piece of Painted Season Designer Series Paper.

For two of the cards I have just embossed with the Tasteful Textures embossing folder straight onto the front layer of the Pool Party card, for the other two I cut an additional layer and embossed it with the Merry Merlot embossing folder.

For the cluster of embellishments on each card, I have sponged one of the Wonderful Snowflake embellishments (part of the Whimsy and Wonder Suite in the 2021 July to December Mini) with Pool Party ink (using a sponge dauber). I also included a piece of looped silver metallic trim (from the Simply Elegant Trim combo in the Annual Catalogue) and a little die cut tree from the Christmas Tree Dies (also part of the Whimsy and Wonder Suite in the 2021 July to December Mini). I finished off with a sentiment from Peaceful Deer stamp set, which I stamped in Evening Evergreen ink.
