AWHT Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Week 40 - Powder Pink

Colour Creations 300

Hello stamping friends. It's time for another Art With Heart Team Colour Creations blog hop. This week we are playing with Powder Pink. This is a lovely soft pink that was introduced as one of the 2017-2019 Stampin' Up!  InColours. Sadly, this colour will be retiring at the end of May (so make sure you order any re-inkers or additional cardstock, ribbon etc you may want). We will have 5 lovely new InColours though, which I can tell you all about in mid-April.

Powder Pink

I have used Fabulous Flamingo, one of my favourite sets from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for today's card. I have used Powder Pink for the main layer of the flamingo, and Flirty Flamingo for the second layer.  The stamp set is photopolymer, so it's easy to line the layers up.

I have used Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to give some background texture on the layer of Powder Pink cardstock. The patterned paper is Tropical Escape from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I have picked Granny Apple Green out of the paper to mat my stamped image.

Here's a summary of my colour combination for this week:

After playing with Powder Pink this week, it has reminded me how much I am going to miss my 2017-2019 Stampin' Up! InColours. These were some of my favourite ever InColours. I literally loved them all from day 1. Check out the page for these colours HERE so you don't miss out on any re-inkers or other colour products you need.

Retiring IncoloursNow it's time to head over to Catherine Proctor's blog and check out the other Powder Pink creations this week.

Have a great week, and I will see you back here in a couple of weeks,

Claire

AWHT Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Week 39 - Poppy Parade

Colour Creations 300

Welcome back to another Art With Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. Today we are playing with Poppy Parade, one of the past In-colours that was reintroduced as a core colour last June, due to its popularity. Poppy parade is a lovely bright red, lending itself to happy bright colour combinations.

Poppy Parade

I struggled a bit with my card for this challenge, as Poppy Parade isn't a colour I normally make the star of a card. In the end, I found a combination I liked, by combining just one other colour (Granny Apple Green) with Basic Black and Whisper White.

This black and white gingham piece from the Botanical Butterfly DSP is really getting a workout. I love the whole DSP pack actually. Will be sad when Saleabration is over at the end of March and it's no longer available to earn. I have also used the Painted Seasons Saleabration Bundle (Level 2) here, and a couple of my favourite Framelit sets: Stitched Labels and Stitched Shapes.

Here's the Poppy Parade colour combination I used in case you want to save it.

Once I had finished the main card, I loved the colour combination so much that I made some extra more simple cards. I love having 'Hello' cards on hand as I find these are great to send with customer and team gifts.

AWHT Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Week 38 - Pool Party

Colour Creations 300

Time for the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team's Colour Creations. I'm so glad I have been able to create for this blog hop again. I get so much enjoyment creating and sharing with the girls in my team, and for you. This week we are playing with Pool Party. I think this is my most used blue in the Stampin' Up! colour range.

Pool Party

For my crd this week, I have made a fun card using the Saleabration stamp set So Hoppy Together. Did you know you can purchase Framelits for this Saleabration set just in March? Check the product links at the end of my post. The Framelits makes this set so much more versatile and give projects great dimension. Frogs were made to jump afterall!

Stampin Up So Hoppy Together and cordinating framelits. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia.

My colour combination comes straight from the Painted Season DSP I have used - Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist  and Call Me Clover. I could have also used Granny Apple Green to coordinate with the ribbon. I just added a little bit of colour to the frog with my Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. The word 'birthday' comes from the Well Words stamp set in the Occasions Catalogue (this is an AWESOME sentiment set).

Now it's time to head over to Catherine Proctors blog, who puts this challenge together each week. What would we do without her? Catherine is the Northern Beaches area of Sydney if you are looking for a demonstrator in that area. If you right click on the list of names on Catherine's page, you can open each project in a new window, which saves you having to move back and forward all the time,

Let me show you all the fabulous sentiments in the Well Said stamp set. You can buy it with or without the Well Wriiten Framelits (the bundle is at a 10% discount). Having a set like this is a great investment because it allows you to put together so many different sentiments. It is a significant investment, but one I really think you will well and truly get your money's worth. You will find the links to these products and the bundle, in the product links at the end of my post.

Well Said

Well Written

I hope you have enjoyed our Pool Party creations this week. Thanks for stopping by. Looking forward to seeing you back here in a couple of days. I have a scrapbook page for you next.

Have a happy day,

Claire

AWHT Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Week 37 - Pineapple Punch

Colour Creations 300

I'm so excited to finally be back playing along with the Colour Creations blog hop with my Art With Heart Team girls. This week we are playing with Pineapple Punch. I have come to really love this bright clean yellow over since it was released as an InColour in June 2018.

Pinepple Punch

I was so excited about using this colour, that I actually ended up making two cards. This first card uses the Beauty Abounds stamp set from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I love the Bokeh stamps included in this set.

Stampin Up Beauty Abounds card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I forgot to photograph the inside of the card - doh! It says, 'It's a million little things' and I have just used two of the Pineapple Punch Bokeh dots on the inside.

For this card I have combined Pineapple Punch with Flirty Flamingo and Coastal Cabana.

Stampin Up Color / Colour Combination. Pineapple Punch, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo.

My second card uses the Sweetest Thing stamp set and How Sweet It Is Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I took my colour inspiration from the paper for this one.  I have used Pineapple Punch as my base colour, and added in some Gorgeous Grape cardstock  and Melon Mambo glitter enamel dots.

The Sweetest Thing stamp set is so fun. There are so many different sweets to stamp in the various jars, and extras to cut out with the coordinating dies. You should definitely check it out!

Now it's time to head over to Catherine Proctor's blog, to see some other Pineapple Punch creations this week.

Also a quick reminder about the fabulous specials on at the moment.

Week 25 AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop - Lemon Lime Twist

Colour Creations 300

Hello there, welcome to another week of Colour Creations, This week we are playing with one of my favourite colours, Lemon Lime Twist. While I have lots of ideas for using this colour, I have decided this week to post the last of my Christmas card creations. Lemon Lime Twist is such a bright happy colour. It is a perfect accompaniment to the Making Spirits Bright stamp set.

Stampin Up Making Spirits Bright, 2018, Christmas, Holiday Catalogue, Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

I have used Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends to colour the Baubles. I also used the Daffodil Delight one to highlight the frame. I must confess I didn't intend to deboss the Oh My Stars embossing folder. It was supposed to be embossed but I liked my mistake better. That happens sometimes doesn't it?

I was happy how quickly this card came together and I have just the friend to give it to; one who brings brightness and sunshine into my life.

Now it's time to pop over to Catherine Proctor's blog, to see what the other Art With Heart team ladies have been creating with Lemon Lime Twist this week. Enjoy!

See you back here again tomorrow with our last week of Heart of Christmas for 2018.

Claire
