Stampin' Up! Deer Builder Punch for Heart of Christmas Week 5

Heart of Christmas Header 2021

Hello stamping friends. It's time for some more Christmas creations. This week I am playing with the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Deer Builder Punch. These were quick and easy to make, so I made 3. My card uses products that will be available tomorrow with the launch of the Stampin' Up! Australia 2021 July to December Mini Catalogue and the beginning of Saleabration (where you can earn free products with each $90 you spend before postage).

I started with a base Evening Evergreen card, and added a layer of Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. Next I cut a strip of coordinating Painted Christmas DSP 12.5cm x 3.7cm, and cut a banner end. This was adhered to the base layer of DSP using Stampin' Seal.

Next I cut a scalloped circle of Evening Evergreen cardstock, using the Layering Circles Dies. This was adhered (with Dimensionals) over the banner piece (the top of the scalloped circle is about 1.5cm from the top of the banner piece in my sample). I then cut the cute Reindeer out of the GORGEOUS Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. You can earn this paper (8 sheet pack) for FREE with a $90 order during Saleabration. It's so pretty. It looks like thousands of mini sequins. I have attached it to the scalloped circle using Stampin' Seal, but you could also use Dimensionals. My greeting is from the new Christmas to Remember stamp set.

I hope you like today's cards. I'll be back with more creations during the week. Now it's time to see what our next Art with Heart Team friend has made for Christmas 2021. Next up we have the lovely Caroline Manwaring.

Stampin Up Australia Heart of Christmas 2021 Week 4: Painted Christmas

Heart of Christmas Header 2021

Hello friends. Today I have three Christmas cards made with a 6x6" piece of patterned paper and a super easy cutting template. I have used a new Christmas product Suite called Painted Christmas which will be available to purchase from August 3rd.

Stampin Up Painted Season suite 2021 Christmas cards by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

To make these cards, I started with three Evening Evergreen C6 card bases (piece of A4 cardstock cut in half vertically and folded).

Next step is to cut three pieces of Painted Christmas patterned paper (start with a 6x6" piece), using this cutting template.

6x6" patterned paper cutting template to make 3 cards

I adhered the two left hand size pieces of paper to the bottom of 2 portrait orientation cards, and the right hand side piece to the bottom of one landscape orientation card. The size allows for a small mat around the bottom and sides.

Once the paper was adhered, I ran the whole card fronts through the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. I love the effect this gives.

The next step is to add a t5hin strip of the gorgeous Dazzling specialty paper across the join. This paper is one of the free items you can earn with a $90 order in Saleabration which is on August 3rd to September 30th. It is so gorgeous! You get 8 6x6" sheets in a pack.

For the sentiment, I have used Christmas to Remember stamp set and the Seasonal Labels Dies. The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen. To finish the card off I have stamped a couple of the holly leaves from Christmas Season stamp set in Garden Green (on a couple of the cards I stamped off once before stamping the holly leaves and I think I like that better) and the berries in real red.

Now it's time to see what the rest of the Art with Heart team have made for Heart of Christmas this week week 4. Next up we have the very creative Christine Blain.

2021 Stampin Up Heart of Christmas Week 3: Whimsy and Wonder Sneak Peek

Heart of Christmas Header 2021 Hello stampers. Today I am bringing you some Stampin' Up! Christmas cards for Week 3 of Heart of Christmas 2021. This is also a sneak peek of a new suite in the 2021 Stampin Up July to December Mini Catalogue. My strategy for my Christmas cards is to make 4-5 cards each week, so I can keep on top of the ones I would like to send, and have them completed in time to write in by mid November. Then I can concentrate on tags, hand-made gift wrapping and ornaments. Sometimes this will mean quite simple cards and this is what I have gone with this week.

Whimsy and Wonder 2021 Stampin Up Christmas cards by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

These cards use a brand new suite coming in the July to December Mini Catalogue (you can request your free catalogues HERE, as I have them to mail out now ahead of the catalogue start date on August 3rd). The suite is called Whimsy and Wonder and it's really cute - non traditional colours and a fun take on Christmas.

For this card I have used a 3cm strip of the DSP, and paired it with Blushing Bride cardstock. I have used my blending brushes to blend a little Blushing Bride ink under the whimsical tree die-cuts in Mint Macaron cardstock.

All that was needed to finish these cards was some clear Rhinestone jewels and a greeting from the stamp set in this suite. I stamped that in Smoky Slate to coordinate with the soft colour palette.

Next it's time to check out what the next Art with Heart team member has come up with. We are heading to the blog of Ros Davidson, who has been with my team for nearly 14 years! Ros always thinks outside the box, so I am looking forward to see what she comes up with.

Stampin Up 2021 Christmas Cards: Poinsettia Petals for Heart of Christmas Week 1

Heart of Christmas Header 2021I'm excited that our Art with Heart Team Christmas themed blog hop is back for another year. From today right through until mid December, we will be providing Christmas card inspiration for you every Monday night. This year it will also be a true blog hop format, so much easier to navigate and see all the wonderful inspiration.

I'm using one of my favourite stamp sets that carried over to the Stampin Up Australia 2021 Annual Catalogue: Poinsettia Petals, along with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies. I used these two products so much last year and I absolutely love them. I have given them a new life for a 2021 Christmas card, by combining it with some brand new products.

The new products I have used are (links at end of post to take you to these products in the online store):

  • Soft Succulent cardstock (one of the new 2021-23 Stampin' Up' InColors) as the base.
  • The gorgeous new Tidings of Christmas DSP from the Annual Catalogue. This paper is 15% off right now in our DSP sale.
  • Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper (I have used the gold on this project) cut with the Encircled in Beauty Dies for the piece underneath the Poinsettia
  • Evening Evergreen Ink to stamp the greeting onto the Soft Succulent cardstock.

The poinsettia layers are embossed in gold onto Shimmery White cardstock and layered together, and over the gold decorative circle, with Dimensionals.  I have added in some foliage cut with the Poinsettia Dies from Soft Succulant cardstock. To finish my card off I added in some Champagne Rhinestones which were the perfect colour for my project.

Here's a reminder of how gorgeous the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and Poinsettia Dies are.

First 2021 Stampin Up Christmas Card for the Year: Evergreen Elegance and a new Christmas DSP

Let's get our 2021 Christmas cards under way shall we? Never too early to start in my opinion.

Today I am using the Evergreen Elegance stamp set (new in the 2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue) and a new Christmas DSP from the Annual Catalogue, called Tidings of Christmas.

Stampin Up Evergreen Elegance 2021 Christmas card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

The design of this card is actually really simple, so it would be a great one to make multiples of. The Evergreen Elegance stamp set is lovely. I'm a real sucker for Christmas sets with realistic looking Christmas trees. Here's a closer look at the set.

The Tidings of Christmas DSP is much richer in colour than it appears in the catalogue. It is a fabulous combination of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand, with  Misty Moornlight and Cherry Cobbler. It's a great Christmas paper.

Stampin Up 2021 Tidings of Christmas DSP. Available in my online store.

Although the stamp set has great greetings, for this card I wanted a smaller more compact greeting, so I have used the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, and a die cut from Encircled in Beauty (you can see the links to both at the end of the post) . I have finished my card off with some linen thread and Champagne Rhinestones.

I hope you liked today's card. Stay tuned for more Christmas cards in the weeks to come.
