Stampin Up Cheerful Daisies Birthday Card with Wild Wheat.

Hello friends. Today I have a handmade birthday card for you, featuring Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle, Fresh as a Daisy DSP, and one of the new 2023 InColors. Wild Wheat. I really love how it turned out. The textured daisy dies and the foliage really add some dimension to my card.

I took my colour inspiration from the colours in this piece of DSP which are Pretty Peacock and Wild Wheat. I really love the rich mustard yellow of Wild Wheat and I think the brightness of the white daisies is a good contrast. I used a sponge dauber to add a little bit of Wild Wheat colour to the centre daisies. I popped some of the daisies and the sentiment label up with Dimensional foam dots.

This sentiment is included in the Cheerful daisies bundle, and the label die in the die set, so they combined for the perfect greeting for my birthday card. The scalloped border at the top of my card is from the Scalloped Contours Dies. I added a thin strip of Wild Wheat cardstock underneath the sentiment label to balance the colours on the card.

Stampin' Up! Video Cardmaking Class: 4 Ways with Wanted to Say Dies and Delightfully Eclectic DSP

Today I have a Stampin' Up! video tutorial for you, featuring four cards using the Stampin' Up! Wanted to Say dies and the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper. These cards were a complimentary kit that I put together for customers who purchased from me in June (subscribe to hear about offers like this). Even if you don't have the kit, you may find inspiration from these cards as I have supplied cutting and scoring information and the video shows you how to put the cards together. There is no stamping on these cards, as all of the sentiments come from the die set, which is a new stand alone die set from the 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies and Countryside Inn DSP

Hello friends. Today I have a fresh daisy themed birthday card for you using the Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle and a fresh colour combination of blue, white and yellow.

I have used a Night of Navy background card, with a piece of Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper. I die cut a piece of Vellum Cardstock using the Countryside Corners Dies, to tone down the DSP a little under where my daisies were going.

I die cut both layers of Daisies in Basic White cardstock and the centres are stamped in Crushed Curry. I have used Balmy Blue for the foliage underneath.

I really love the cute stitched label that comes with this die set, along with this really happy birthday sentiment. It's one I can see myself using a lot.

Stampin' Up! Birds Eye View Birthday Card Idea

Good morning friends. Today I am sharing a cute birthday card using a new stamp set in the 2023-2024 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue called Birds Eye View. This stamp set is SO cute!

I created this card to demonstrate a colour combination using Lemon Lolly, one of the new Stampin' Up! core colours introduced in May 2023. Here's a look at the colour combination I used.

I used a piece of the Bubble Bath monochrome patterned 6x6" DSP from the Subtles pack as my first layer and then added a piece of Basic White cardstock with a lightly blended background in Balmy Blue.

I stamped the bird and balloon in Memento Black once onto the sponged background, and again onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock. I coloured the bird on the scrap paper in Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends, and the balloon in Bubble Bath blends. I then fussy cut the bird and balloon and adhered them with Dimensionals over the images I had stamped on the sponged background. Finally I stamped the birthday sentiment from Inked and Tiled stamp set (this is my favourite sentiment set right now), and embellished with some of the white sequins from the Adhesive Backed Sequin Trio.

With lots of different cute birds in the Birds Eye View stamp stamp set, you could quickly make up lots of different handmade birthday cards.

Stampin' Up! 2023 Beautiful Balloons Birthday Shaker Card

Hello friends, today I have a bright and happy birthday shaker card for you using the Beautiful Balloons bundle from the 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

I started with a piece of white cardstock (slightly smaller on all sides than the base card) blended with Azure Afternoon, Fresh Freesia and Lemon Lime Twist. I then cut the combined balloons shape from this and traced that shape onto the base card too.

Next I adhered foam strips around the outside of the shape and added some sequins (mine are some retired ones I had in my stash).

For the piece that gets adhered over the top, I:

Embossed some tassles and streamers and random dots onto the sponged cardstock using white embossing powder;
Added a piece of window sheet attached on reverse (tip: if you wipe the sequin side of this with your embossing buddy, it helps the sequins to not stick to the window sheet).
Die cut a large balloon in Fresh Freesia with the small star embedded in the balloon (make sure the star is low enough to emboss Happy Birthday onto the balloon too.
