Stampin Up Inked and Tiled Patchwork Pieces Card

Today I have a patchwork 'hello' card for you, using the new Inked and Tiled stamp set and Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper from the 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I was really drawn to the beautiful imagery in these products, and also really LOVE the versatile sentiments and gorgeous modern font. I have already used this stamp set SO much for sentiments.

The Inked and Botanical Designer Series Paper (on special this month for 15% off) coordinates perfectly with this stamp set. The Stampin' Up! artists used real pressed flowers and foliage in the process of designing these products. They inked them up and pressed them down, which is why we have such amazing representation of texture. Here's a closer look at the stamp set and DSP (which is a 6x6" pack, so you get 48 sheets - 4 each of 12 double sided designs).

First up the stamp set. Look at those gorgeous designs and sentiments. I would regularly use every one of those sentiments. You can find the Inked and Tiled stamp set HERE in my online store.

Here is the Inked Botanicals DSP. The coordinating colours are Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Petal Pink and Pool Party. Love these colours together and will definitely need more of this paper!

For my card I started with a Crushed Curry cardstock base, and added one of the monochrome Crushed Curry floral DSP pieces as the first layer. I created the nifty stitched patchwork pattern by using a handy new die set in the Annual Catalogue called Patchwork pieces. I cut two of the die cuts - one in the Crushed Curry polka dot pattern and the other in the Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry floral on Very Vanilla pieces. Then I just alternated them. and adhered then to a Calypso Coral base.

Here's a look at the Patchwork Pieces Die.

I stamped the image and sentiment onto Very Vanilla. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry to ink up the stamp (don't forget to 'huff' on it to re-moisten the ink before stamping) and then stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon. I cut the image out with the 2 & 3/8" circle punch, and then adhered that onto a 2 & 1/2" circle of Calypso Coral. That was adhere with Dimensionals (as was the patchwork layer) and then I embellished with some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
