Three quick and easy Stampin' Up! cards using Heart & Home Memories and More Cards and Envelopes.

Hello stamping friends. Are you ready for some quick and easy Stampin' Up! cards?

I find one of the best ways to make quick cards, is by using the Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, and Memories and More Card Packs. Today I have three quick cards for you using these products from the Heart and Home Suite in the Stampin' Up! 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue.

The cards are already pre-printed and come in the pack with coordinating envelopes. There are two sizes in this pack: gift cards and full sized cards. The coordinating Heart and Home Memories and More Card Pack has journaling cards (in two sizes) and cardstock weight stickers which can be used for both scrapbooking and cardmaking. I have used these cards and stickers, along with other elements from the Heart and Home suite (doilies and denim ribbon) to make these cards. Colour Creations Week 34: Petal Pink

Welcome to this week's Art with Heart Team Colour Creations Blog Hop. Today we are showcasing Petal Pink, a warm peach pink.

Today's card is inspired by my water bottle! It's a lovely ombre pattern in shades of Petal Pink, Polished Pink and Melon Mambo.

Here is my card. I really love how it turned out, even though I kind of made it up as I went along!

My base card is Petal Pink, and the second layer is Petal Pink embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder.

Step by Step Instructions for Stamped Piece

I started with a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and I used my blending brushes to lay down some Polished Pink ink in the bottom half, and Petal Pink ink in the top half, with lots of blending at the intersection.
Next I blended a little Melon Mambo right at the bottom.
I embossed the small floral image from Blessings of Home stamp set (in the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue) in white over the top of the blended ink.
Next I used a water painter (the fine tip one) to remove a lot of the ink colour from the leaves and petals. You just brush with water and it lightens the ink lots as it dries.
Finally I added additional ink colours onto the image. I used Polished Pink and Rich Razzleberry for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves.

To finish my card, I mounted the stamped piece onto a piece of Basic Gray cardstock, and tucked one of the Heart and Home Doilies underneath (the Basic Gray one). I adhered this with Dimensionals. I stamped the long birthday sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set in Basic Grey onto Shimmery white, cut it into strips and adhered with Stampin' Seal. I finished off with a double bow of Grey Granite bakers twine.

Colour Creations Week 33: Pear Pizazz with Stampin' Up! Garden Greenhouse

Hello friends. Another week of Colour Creations for you. This week we have Pear Pizazz, a lovely subtle green with a warm undertone.

I have combined three of my favourite products from the January to June Mini Catalogue in today's card. These are Greenhouse Garden bundle, the Bough Punch and the Abstract Beauty 4x6" Specialty Designer Series Paper. You can see these products in my online store using the links at the end of the page, and there are also product photos further down the post.

I started with a Pear Pizazz side folding C6 card. My next layer is a piece of Pear Pizazz embossed with one of the Greenery Mini Embossing Folders. I really love this embossed pattern. My next layer is a piece of the gorgeous Abstract Beauty specialty DSP. I love the bright happy colours in this paper. It also has some gold foiling.

Next up I have a piece of Basic White cardstock 9.6cm x 7.5cm. I stamped the largest foliage image (from the Garden Greenhouse stamp set) in Pear Pizazz ink. The teeny flowers were added using Polished Pink ink. These were super easy to line up as the stamp set is photopolymer. Make sure you line the bottom of the foliage up with the bottom of the Basic White cardstock piece.

Next up I cut my greenhouse pieces from the Greenhouse Dies. I cut the solid piece from a Window Sheet, and the outline piece with Silver foil. I attached the Silver Foil to an adhesive sheet before I diecut, so it could easily be attached t0 the Window Sheet. I attached the Window sheet to the card with a couple of small pieces of Stampin' Seal. next time I will use mini glue dots, or try sponging a thin layer of Multipurpose Liquid Glue as I have heard that works too.

To finish off my card. I punched the foliage shapes from the Bough punch in Pear Pizazz (the larger piece) and Polished Pink (the smaller piece). There are great foliage pieces included in the Greenhouse dies too, but I wanted to try out my Bough Punch. Finally I stamped the sentiment in Memento black ink and added a couple of Matte Black Dots.

Here's a closer look at the 3 key products I have used (check out the links at the end of the post to see them in my store).

First up here is the Garden Greenhouse bundle.

Next we have the Abstract Beauty DSP. This paper is double sided, 6x4" size and has gold foil accents on one side. There are 12 different designs and you get 4 of each sheet. I love the bright happy designs.

Finally we have the Bough punch. This is SO versatile!

Colour Creations Week 32: Pacific Point & Stampin Up Let's Set Sail Bundle

Hi friends. I had a chance to do some creating on the weekend, so I am delighted to be able to participate in our weekly Art with Heart Team Colour Creations blog hop. Our team girls have lots of fun creating and sharing with you and each other, each week.

Today our colour is Pacific Point. This isn't a colour I tend to reach for very often, but I do like it. It's a nice bright blue.

This colour always makes me think of the ocean, so I have chosen the new Let's Set Sail Bundle for my card today. This bundle consists of a stamp set and coordinating punch.

This is a great new bundle. Punch bundles are usually quite a bit cheaper than die and stamp bundles, and I love the ease of just grabbing a punch instead of getting out my die cutting machine. This is a great stamp set for masculine cards, and has some versatile sentiments in a great font. I really like the different ocean stamps for grounding the sailing boat image too.

Here is my colour combination for today's card.

To make this card I started with a C6 top folding card in Basic White. I then cut another layer 10cm x 14.3cm and cut a circle in the centre using the second largest Layering Circle Die. I then embossed that piece with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder (emboss after you cut the circle for the best effect). I then cut a piece of Basic White cardstock slightly bigger than the die cut circle and blended some Pacific Point ink in an ombre pattern. This was adhered to the back of the die cut circle opening with some Tear and Tape. I then stamped the birds in Pacific Point ink at the top of the blending. This whole panel was attached to the card front using Dimensionals.

The ship is stamped in Basic Gray and the Sails in Real Read, and both cut out with the punch. I've adhered the sails with Dimensionals them up a little.

To finish my card I stamped the greeting in Basic Grey and cut it out with one of the Rectangle Stitched dies.

I then tied a double strand of White bakers twine to the top of the card.

Happy New Year & three exciting things happening today!

Hello my lovely friends and Happy New Year!

As some of you have noticed, it's been a while since I have posted here. There hasn't been anything big happen (well other than a pandemic :(); I was just feeling worn out at the end of 2021 (as I am sure we all were) and really needed to slow down to recharge. I'll slowly be working my way into posting a bit more often in the coming weeks and back posting a bit more regularly when school is back. I do intend for 2022 to be a slower year for me though, with more me time, family time and time for self-care. I was definitely feeling a bit depleted mentally and physically at the end of last year and self-care is so important, especially now. You can count on me still to be here creating and posting in some capacity though. My motto for 2022 is "less but better".

Three exciting things are happening today, so I wanted to tell you all about them!

The first is that today is my 15th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! What a privilege it has been to inspire you and create for you over that time, and to make so many amazing friendships with customers, team members, fellow demonstrators and Stampin' Up! staff globally. My life has been enriched by Stampin' Up! in many ways. Here's to many more of sharing the joy of living a creative life!

The second is that the 2022 January to June Mini Catalogue is now live! You can view the products HERE in my online store, or you can view it online / download to a device HERE.

One slight downer is that global shipping is terrible right now, and retailers everywhere are being impacted with delays. There are a few items (7 out of the 56 stamp sets and 1 paper pack) that we are still waiting on so they are showing as unavailable in the store. This also impacts the bundles these products are in. Everything else is available though and I will update you as soon as these items arrive in.

The third is that Saleabration starts today and goes through until the end of February.
