Stampin' Up! Evergreen Elegance and Painted Christmas for Heart of Christmas Week 12
September 20, 2021
Hello friends. I'm excited I found time to create on the weekend, so I could participate in this weeks Art with Heart Team blog hops. For Heart of Christmas this week, I am combining my favourite Evergreen Elegance stamp set, with Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Measurements
If you would like to recreate this card at home, here are the measurements:
- Base Card: C6 size top folding Evening Evergreen card (1/2 A4 sheet cut vertically and folded in half).
- Base layer DSP: 7.5cm x 13cm piece of Painted Christmas DSP
- Stamped DSP piece: 9cm x 11cm piece of Painted Christmas DSP which has a 2mm mat of Evening Evergreen cardstock around it.
All of the trees are stamped in Evening Evergreen, with some stamped off one or two times.
My sentiment is from Peaceful Deer, as I wanted a smaller sentiment, and I just love this one. It is stamped in Crumb Cake onto Shimmery White cardstock and cut out with the Double Oval Punch.
Here's a quick look at these products I have used today (shop them all using the links at the bottom of the post).

If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of this week’s host of The Heart Of Christmas Blog Hop, Sharon Davern, and she will have the list of all those participating.
Thanks for visiting our Heart of Christmas blog hop this week. Have a great day!

I love how you stamped the trees directly onto the DSP, and the thin matt layers is great. Loving the twine & gems too!

The beautiful forest of trees stamped on DSP looks so good, Claire. Evening Evergreen provides such elegance to your card. Just lovely.

You have created such a serene scene Claire and beautifully stamped. Love all the colours on the card as reflected in the DSP. Very elegant!

Claire, I'm really loving the cards you are making with Evening Evergreen as the base - I think it really works like a neutral and makes your beautiful stamping pop. Those trees look so misty and realistic and the twine wrapped around into the bow is gorgeous.

I love the differing depths of colour used for the trees. It reminds me of walking through a forest. Very traditionally christmas
