Stampin Up Australia Heart of Christmas 2021 Week 7: Sparkly Christmas Cards

Hi friends. I'm back with some more Christmas creations for you today, for week 7 of Heart of Christmas. I hope we are inspiring you with ideas for your 2021 Christmas cards. Today I am featuring one of our Saleabration items which you can earn for FREE with a $90 order up until September 30th. You get eight 6x6" sheets in the pack and it can be die cut, punched and coloured as well.
Here is my first card this week, a sparkly Christmas tree.
For my first card I have used the Christmas Tree Dies (in the Whimsy and Wonder Suite, page 25 of the Stampin Up Australia July to December Mini Catalogue) to cut a base tree in Evening Evergreen and then the garland from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This paper cuts fine in the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, but I recommend a firm sandwich and a couple of runs through the machine. The little star was cut from a retired punch in my stash. I have used Holiday Rhinestone Jewels to decorate the garland, and my DSP is Tidings of Christmas from the Annual Catalogue. The scalloped piece is cut from the Scalloped Contours Dies (in the Annual catalogue). My sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set in the July to December Mini Catalogue.
For my second card, I used the Sparkle of the Season bundle.
My base card is Soft Succulent and I have used the Tidings of Christmas DSP for my two DSP layers. I cut the wreath from the Seasonal Swirls Dies and then coloured it with my light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends to tone it in with the DSP. I have added some Holiday Rhinestones to the wreath, and my sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set.

The sparkly paper is a perfect complement to the sentiments in the Sparkle of the Season stamp set. The scalloped border on your first card evokes thoughts of a Christmas tree "skirt". Lovely cards, Claire.

Beautiful cards Claire and the Be Dazzling paper sets off the Christmas tree perfectly. I love the large scalloped edge in your first card. The red rhinestones look lovely on the wreath in your second card.

Such great cards Claire, I love the Be Dazzling paper on your cards and the jewels on them are I really loved the first one and then I saw the second one. I just love how soft succulent looks on with Evening Evergreen on Christmas cards.

Yes, the Be Dazzling SP is perfect for the tinsel on these trees. I love the Holiday Rhinestones for a bit of colour too. Your wreath is very delicate, but lovely with those patterned papers.

WOW, that glitter paper REALLY does make the cards sparkle. I love the festive feel it gives to the cards. The tree actually looks like it has tinsel.

I love how you have used the Holiday Rhinestone to look like baubles on a tree. That Be Dazzling has been so good to use on Christmas cards. Love the wreath in it too
