First 2021 Stampin Up Christmas Card for the Year: Evergreen Elegance and a new Christmas DSP
June 18, 2021
Let's get our 2021 Christmas cards under way shall we? Never too early to start in my opinion.
Today I am using the Evergreen Elegance stamp set (new in the 2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue) and a new Christmas DSP from the Annual Catalogue, called Tidings of Christmas.
The design of this card is actually really simple, so it would be a great one to make multiples of. The Evergreen Elegance stamp set is lovely. I'm a real sucker for Christmas sets with realistic looking Christmas trees. Here's a closer look at the set.
The Tidings of Christmas DSP is much richer in colour than it appears in the catalogue. It is a fabulous combination of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand, with Misty Moornlight and Cherry Cobbler. It's a great Christmas paper.
Although the stamp set has great greetings, for this card I wanted a smaller more compact greeting, so I have used the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, and a die cut from Encircled in Beauty (you can see the links to both at the end of the post) . I have finished my card off with some linen thread and Champagne Rhinestones.
I hope you liked today's card. Stay tuned for more Christmas cards in the weeks to come.
