Be Dazzling Stampin Up Christmas Card coloured with Stampin' Blends.

Hello friends,

It's lovely to be back. I've been a little quiet for a week or two while I rested and got some treatment for a painful shoulder. It's slowly getting there.

Even though I didn't make the time cut off for this week's Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, I wanted to post my card. If you want to follow the Art with Heart Team Blog Hop for week 10 of Heart of Christmas, start HERE at Tina's blog (after checking out my card of course!)

This week's Christmas card is a relatively simple layout with a bit of wow. I wanted to showcase the Be Dazzling DSP coloured with Stampin' Blends. You can only EARN the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper for FREE with a $90+ order until the 30th September when Saleabration ends. This paper is gorgeous and you get eight 6x6" sheets in a pack.

I've used the Real Red Stampin' Blends on these letters after I had die cut them using the Playful Alphabet Dies. Before I die-cut, I added a piece of self adhesive foam sheet to the back of the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This gives the letter extra dimension.

The letters were adhered to an adhesive rectangle die cut (I added some scrap cardstock to the back of the DSP first to give it extra weight). As the foam adhesive sheets are adhesive on both sides, all I needed to do was remove the backing sheet from the letters to adhere them. I popped a Holiday Rhinestone either end for some embellishment. This piece was then attached with Dimensionals to the base card which is Sahara Sand with some DSP pieces from both Painted Christmas DSP and Tidings of Christmas DSP. I then tucked some foliage underneath which was cut from the Sprig Punch (out of the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper) and a die cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies (out of Evening Evergreen cardstock).

Sending brightness and sunshine to you for the weekend: Stampin Up Saleabration Delicate Dahlia 'Happy for You' card.

Hello friends. Time for a bright happy card don't you think? I wanted to send some brightness and 'sunshiney' thoughts out into the world and wish everyone a happy weekend. I know many of us are limited as to what we can do, but I find even a warm cuppa in the son, a read of a good book or wandering in the garden makes me happy right now.

I made today's card using Delicate Dahlia, which is one of the free Saleabration stamp sets from Stampin Up Australia.

This card base and stamping is Polished Pink, and some of the images are stamped off. The sentiment label shape is die cut from Tasteful Label dies. The Delicate Dahlia stamp is a Distinktive type stamp, which means you get variations in the texture with one stamping.

I hope this card brings a smile to your face and that you find some simple moments of happiness over the weekend.

Stampin Up Australia Heart of Christmas 2021 Week 7: Sparkly Christmas Cards

Hi friends. I'm back with some more Christmas creations for you today, for week 7 of Heart of Christmas. I hope we are inspiring you with ideas for your 2021 Christmas cards. Today I am featuring one of our Saleabration items which you can earn for FREE with a $90 order up until September 30th. It's called Be Dazzling Specialty Paper, and we all need a bit of dazzle in our lives right now don't we?

You get eight 6x6" sheets in the pack and it can be die cut, punched and coloured as well.

Here is my first card this week, a sparkly Christmas tree.

For my first card I have used the Christmas Tree Dies (in the Whimsy and Wonder Suite, page 25 of the Stampin Up Australia July to December Mini Catalogue) to cut a base tree in Evening Evergreen and then the garland from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. This paper cuts fine in the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, but I recommend a firm sandwich and a couple of runs through the machine. The little star was cut from a retired punch in my stash. I have used Holiday Rhinestone Jewels to decorate the garland, and my DSP is Tidings of Christmas from the Annual Catalogue. The scalloped piece is cut from the Scalloped Contours Dies (in the Annual catalogue). My sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set in the July to December Mini Catalogue.

For my second card, I used the Sparkle of the Season bundle.

My base card is Soft Succulent and I have used the Tidings of Christmas DSP for my two DSP layers. I cut the wreath from the Seasonal Swirls Dies and then coloured it with my light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends to tone it in with the DSP. I have added some Holiday Rhinestones to the wreath, and my sentiment is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set.

Stampin Up Classic Cloche Bundle Shaker Card for Christmas 2021

Hello lovely friends.

Today I have a shaker card idea for you using the lovely new Classic Cloche bundle in the Stampin Up Australia July to December Mini Catalogue.

I'm totally in love with these cute little Cloche Shaker Domes and the Subtle Shimmer Sequins are great to pop inside for the shaker bits. I have used a piece of the Peaceful Place DSP adhered to a Red Foil Sheet as my top layer. I have coloured the image with Stampin' Blends (light Old Olive, light Poppy Parade and light and dark Gray Granite). The greeting is from the stamp set too, and this is stamped in Old Olive onto a strip of Basic White, and I have used the Label Pick a Punch to make the fancy ends. How beautiful is the Cherry Cobbler and Gold ribbon? Such an awesome ribbon for Christmas.
