Quick and Easy 10 Minute Stampin Up Snail Mail Get Well Card

Hello crafty friends! Today's card came together quickly and easily, when I saw some black and white patterned paper scraps I had sitting on my desk, and decided I wanted to use them on a card. I wanted to make a happy and bright get well card for a friend, and the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper had a nice bright piece which was perfect to compliment my sentiment.

All you need is a base card in Blushing Bride (but you could choose any of the other coordinating colours in this lovely DSP), followed by a layer of DSP which is 14cm x 9.7cm. Then I just adhered the DSP scraps, and a small strip of Blushing Bride cardstock.

My sentiment is from So Sentimental stamp set, and I have used the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut that out. It is adhered to the card using Dimensionals, and a teeny red Resin Heart (from the Snail Mail Product Suite as well) is attached. This was a super quick and easy card. All done in 10 minutes! This design would be easy to make in a variety of patterned paper designs or whenever you have scraps laying around. Get well cards are definitely great ones to have on hand.

Dragonfly Birthday Card with Ink Blended Background Video Tutorial

Hello friends. Today I have a card I created over the weekend while having a play with the new Stampin' Up! ink blending brushes that were introduced in the 2021 January to June mini catalogue. I've created a birthday card using the Dragonfly Garden bundle (which includes the Dragonflies Punch).

I'm really happy how this card turned out. I found the blending brushes GREAT to use. This wasn't my first experience with blending brushes as I had purchased another brand prior to Stampin' Up! releasing their own. The Stampin' Up! ones are a great price point in comparison (quite a bit cheaper) and comparable (if not better) in both ease of use and result on our Basic White cardstock. I was able to get a really great smoothly blended result.

My blended colours are Soft Sea Foam (centre), Pool Party (sky) and Mint Macaron (lower third). I also used Just Jade cardstock for my base card and one layer of the dragonflies, and Shaded Spruce as my ink colour for the stamped dragonfly.

I have a video to show you how I created the blended ink background.

Here's the measurements, and steps for the rest of this card:

The blended background piece is 9cm x 13.3cm, and the Pool Party mat layer is 9.4cm x 13.7cm. The base card is a standard C6 top folding card in Just Jade.
Once I made the background with the blending brushes, I used Mint Macaron ink to overstamp the foliage, and Pool Party ink to stamp the dragonflies in the top right hand corner.
I stamped two dragonflies from the Dragonfly garden stamp set using Shaded Spruce ink. One was stamped onto Just Jade cardstock, and one was stamped onto Whisper White cardstock.
I punched these Dragonflies out with the Dragonflies punch, along with one of the smaller butterflies in Just Jade.
I adhered the Just Jade Dragonflies directly to the blended background using Stampin' Seal.
I coloured the other Dragonfly in with light Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends and then adhered it over the large Just Jade Dragonfly with Dimensionals (just in the centre so the wings can be lifted a bit). I then added a few Rhinestone Jewels in the centre.
I adhered this whole piece to the Pool Party layer with Stampin' Seal, and then tied a double layer of linen thread around the bottom (about 2 cm from the base), tying in a bow on the left side.
I wanted this card for a birthday card, so I have the birthday sentment stamp in Peaceful Moments. I stamped that in basic black onto Basic White, and the overstamped the foliage stamp in Mint Macaron (stamped off once). I cut the greeting out with one of the Tasteful Labels dies whch has fine stitching around the outside.

Handmade Anniversary card using new 2021 Always in My Heart Bundle

Hello stampers. Sneaking in another card for you before the weekend. This one is an Anniversary card and I think it could be used for a couple, husband or boyfriend with this colour combination. It uses the brand new 2021 Always in My Heart bundle. I just love that floral heart die!

My colours are Smoky Slate, Real Red, Basic Black and Basic White. I have used that lovely Subles 3D embossing folder on the layer underneath the floral heart die.

I love the banner piece in this die set as well. In the stamp set, there is a velentines sentiment stamp that fits perfectly in the banner too. There are other great sentiments suitable for wedding and engagement cards too, which maks this a really versatile bundle.

Stampin' Up! Pierced Blooms Dies | In Bloom Bundle Welcome Card

Hello friends. Today I have a 'welcome to the team' for some new Art with Heart team members. I have used the Stampin' Up! Pierced Blooms Dies (get them 10% off as part of the In Bloom Bundle) from the 2021 January to June Mini Catalogue. Pierced blooms are very on trend right now, and these ones also coordinate perfectly with the Paper Blooms 12x12" Designer Series Paper Pack which is available exclusively during Saleabration (only until February 28th).

I really love the intricate piercing on these die cut blooms, which adds extra wow to your card for no extra creating time. I have used Blushing Bride cardstock for both the blooms and the base card. The front of the card is embossed with the Subtles embossing folder.

There are 25 separate dies in the Pieced Blooms Dies including a variety of flowers, leaves, flower centres, stems and labels.

There is also a coordinating stamp set called In Bloom. If you buy the dies and stamp set together (the In Bloom bundle), you get 10% off each item.

I also made another version, this one has some Rococo Rose added in.

Lots of Heart Valentines Card

Hey crafters. Today I have a handmade Valentines day card using the new 2021 Stampin' Up! Lots of Heart stamp set. It would also be suitable for a wedding, anniversary or engagement card.

I was inspired with this summery colour combination that was used in the Sweet Little Valentines cards and more in the 2021 January to June Mini Catalogue. I have used Pool Party as the watercolour wash, and then Melon Mambo, Petal Pink and Calypso Coral for the hearts. I love the variety of patterns that the hearts can be stamped in.

I have used our new Opal Rounds embellishments from the 2021 January to June Mini Catalogue to embellish my card, and a white heat embossed sentiment on basic black cardstock. I didn't have the coordinating dies for this stamp set, so I used the smooth edged heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. I managed to make it fit pretty well, with just needing to cut a teeny bit out with paper snips at the top centre of the heart.

The Lots of Heart stamp set has 5 great sentiments suitable for a range of occasions. It is also available to purchase in a bundle with coordinating dies.
