Three Cards in One with Stampin Up Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper

Hello crafty friends. Today I want to show you how you can make 3 quick and easy Stampin Up cards in one! I have used the Stampin' Up! Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Stampin Up Australia Annual Catalogue, along with the super versatile Biggest Wish stamp set from the same catalogue.

Stampin Up 3 quick and easy cards in one using Pansy Petals DSP. 2021 Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Here's the three cards I made.

Stampin Up 3 quick and easy cards in one using Pansy Petals DSP. 2021 Card by Claire Daly Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Card Instructions

  1. Start with 3 x C6 standard card bases in Soft Succulent (that's an A4 sheet cut in half vertically and folded in half).
  2. Cut three pieces of coordinating DSP pieces each 10cmx 14.3cm.
  3. Stack them together in your trimmer and make 2 angled cuts (it doesn't really matter where you make them, but aim for 3 pieces around the same size).
  4. Select one piece from each pattern and adhere to the card leaving a teeny gap in between each piece.

The final step is to adhere a sentiment label over the join of the three pieces. I used a circle with my greeting from Biggest Wish stamped in colours to coordinate with the DSP. If you don't have the Biggest Wish Stamp Set, I strongly suggest you take a look using the links at the end of the post. It's so versatile.

I have also used a piece of Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon (you need about 22cm for each card), and one of the Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

This is such a quick and easy design, I will definitely be making more quick and easy cards using this layout.

Stampin Up You're a Peach Easy Patterned Paper Strip Card with Measurements

Hello friends! With just over nine days left of the Stampin Up Australia Designer Series Paper sale (it ends on August 2nd), I wanted to show you an easy card layout to use up strips of Designer Series Paper. I am using You're a Peach Designer Series Paper Pack, which is one of the gorgeous paper packs on special at 15% off until August 2nd. I have included the measurements so you can easily make cards like this at home.

Quick and Easy card design using strips of patterned paper (You're a Peach Designer Series Paper from Stampin Up). 2021 card by Claire Daly Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

Measurements

  • My base card is a standard C6 size Balmy Blue card (half an A4 sheet cut vertically and folded in half).
  • My second Balmy Blue layer is 9.9cm x 14.2 cm.
  • Each of the five coordinating paper strips are 9.5cm long and 2.6cm wide, which allows for a 2mm border all round when they are adhered to the second layer.
  • The circle is the largest die (the plain one, not the scalloped one) in the layering circles dies.

The other main element on my card is one of the Tailor Made Tags die cuts. It's really easy to miss these dies in the catalogue as they are a stand alone die set, but they are gorgeous as they have 4 stitched tags in 2 different designs (so 8 tags all up), with two different reinforcements = 10 really versatile dies for $38.00. I have included a picture of the dies below.

My sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts stamp set, one of my favourite sentiment sets from the 2021 Annual Annual Catalogue. I love the font in this set.

Stampin Up In Symmetry with Bumblebee

Colour Creations 2021 to 2022 logoHello friends. The Stampin Up Art with Heart Team ladies are back with another week of the Colour Creations blog hop. This week we are playing with Bumblebee, which I think is my FAVE yellow in our range.

Bumblebee

I have a card using the In Symmetry stamp set and Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (on sale this month for 15% off). This paper is gorgeous, and has Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Just Jade and Night of Navy as the coordinating colours. I really like how these colours work together.

Stampin Up In Symmetry stamp set with Sweet Symmetry DSP. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

While the stamping is quite simple on this card, there are LOTS of layers underneath. I have used three different pieces of that lovely DSP, including a circle to add in some variety with the shapes. I have also used a piece of Bumblebee cardstock embossed with the Dots embossing foler (one of the two mini folders in the Checks & Dots embossing folder pack).

Stampin' Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You Card

Hello crafty friends.

Today I have another card using the Quiet Meadow bundle from the Stampin' Up! Australia 2021 Annual Catalogue. I love this bundle, probably one of my favourites in the Annual Catalogue.

Stampin Up Quiet Meadows Thinking of You Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

I started with a base of Soft Succulent cardstock and embossed it with the Pretty Flower embossing folder. The various wildflowers were die cut from Fluid 100 watercolour paper and then I used my Aquapainters to colour them. I used Soft Succulent ink on the stems and leaves, and Polished Pink for the flowers. I tied them together with some white bakers twine and then adhere to the card in a couple of places with glue dots. Finally I stamped my sentiment from Quiet Meadows stamp set in Soft Succulent onto Basic White cardstock and cut it out using one of the dies from the Ornate Labels Dies.

Quick and Easy Stampin' Up! Artistically Inked 'Hello' Card

A quick card is a good card, right? Sometimes for me that is definitely the case, other times I like to play with techniques. Today though, I want to show you a quick and easy card using the Artistically Inked bundle from the Stampin Up Australia 2021 Annual Catalogue.

Quick and easy Stampin Up Artistically Inked bundle card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

Measurements / Supplies:

To make this card you will need (find these items using the links at the bottom of the post):

  • Standard C6 top folded Pear Pizazz card as the base.
  • A piece of Expressions In Ink Designer Series Paper 10cm x 14.3cm (the piece with Pear Pizazz and Pale Papaya on it)
  • A die cut (out of Pear Pizazz) of the large leaf /branch piece from the Artistic Dies
  • 3 adhesive sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack
  • A piece of Pale Papaya and White ribbon, 25cm in length
  • White bakers twine
  • A scrap of white cardstock and Pear Pizazz ink pad to stamp the greeting from the Artistically Inked stamp set.

Quick and easy Stampin Up Artistically Inked bundle card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

Step by Step Instructions:

  1. I adhered the piece of DSP to the card using Stampin' Seal adhesive (you could also use Multipurpose Glue)
  2. I adhered the die cut with glue dots in about 3 or 4 places.
  3. Wrap the Pale Papaya and White ribbon over the top of the branch and overlap on the underside of the card. I just used Stampin' Seal to keep it in place but be sure to not place any adhesive where you will be tying the bow with the White bakers twine. You don't want the ribbon adhered too tightly for the same reason.
  4. Stamp the 'hello' sentiment in Pear Pizazz ink onto a scrap of white cardstock. Trim and cut the ends on an angle.
  5. Adhere the sentiment piece towards the bottom right of the card and place the three adhesive sequins around the edges.

That's all there is to it. Easy, right?
