Stampin' Up! Basket of Blooms stamp set & Small Bloom punch

Hey there.

Today I have a bright and happy card for you, using the Basket of Blooms stamp set from the 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.

I was immediately drawn to this stand alone stamp set for several reasons:

  1. The great variety of outline images, including flowers, foliage, vase, basket and flower pot, which make it great for colouring.
  2. It coordinates with the Small Bloom punch, which was one of the free choices during Saleabration 2020, and can also be purchased still.
  3. It's a GREAT price - 14 stamps for $30.

Purchase in my online store in Australia. It's so easy to create beautiful floral arrangements with this set, whether they be simple or more detailed. By being able to punch out some of the flowers, it's easy to add dimension to your project too. Here's the Small Bloom Punch it coordinates with (shop link at the end of the post).

For my card, I used Stampin' Blends to colour the vase (light and dark Seaside Spray and light Misty Moonlight). I stamped the foliage in Granny Apple Green, and the flower in Magenta Madness. My base card is Bumble Bee, and I have used Magenta Madness for the sentiment piece (the sentiment is from the Dressed to Impress stamp set) and for the mat on the stamped piece. The Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder is the perfect way to add some extra interest to the base Bumble Bee card.

I'm looking forward to having more of a play with this gorgeous stamp set. Here's some samples that the Stampin' Up! designers made with this set. Aren't they gorgeous? This set just inspires bright and happy cards and we could all do with some bright and happy right now.
