Poppy Party Day 5: Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies Get Well Card

Hello stampers. Today I am bringing you day 5 (and my final day) of posts showcasing the Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies bundle from the 2020 January to June Mini Catalogue. Today's card is a get well card.

This greeting is one of the 2 part greetings in the Saleabration level 1 set Sending You Thoughts. Here's the second part of the greeting in the centre of the card,

I love how the stamped Poppy Parade flowers and Old Olive leaves work so well with the sheet of Peaceful Poppies DSP I have used as the first layer of my card. The black and white of the labels (included in the Painted Labels Dies which are part of the bundle) and greeting contrasts well with this. I have added a few of the Peaceful Poppies sequins to the greeting label to finish off the card.

Day 4 Poppy Party: Simple Peaceful Poppy DSP Card and Envelope

Hello friends.

Back today with Day 4 of my Painted Poppy Bundle showcase. You can find the bundle in the 2020 Stampin' Up! January to June mini catalogue (see my sidebar). Today I have got a very simple card for you with just a tiny bit of stamping.

I LOVE this big bold sheet of poppy paper in the Peaceful Poppies DSP. It's quite difficult to use mixed with other elements, so I made it the star of the project. The base card is one of the Magnolia Lane Large Speciality Memories and More Cards & Envelope. The silver border is already pre-printed on the card, so all I needed to do was cut a piece of DSP 7.8cm x 10.5cm and adhere. I then stamped some of the poppy images in Versamark in the top left and bottom right.

I embossed the greeting from the Saleabration Level 1 set Sending you Thoughts in silver onto one of the pre-embossed black banners in the Peaceful Poppies elements pack (this is included in my gift with purchase this week only). That's really all there is to the card.

For the envelope, I traced the liner that comes with the card onto the DSP and cut it out to use as the new liner. I also stamped a few flowers in Versamark on the envelope. Easy peasy and it would take you no time at all to create a set of these cards.

Poppy Party Day 3: Rococo Rose meets Stampin' Up! Painted Poppies Bundle

Hello friends, welcome to Day 3 of the Poppy Party where I showcase a different way to use the Stampin' Up! Painted Poppy bundle from the 2020 January to June mini catalogue.

Today I have created a pretty card using lots of layers, and some of the other dies in the bundle.

My base card colour is Rococo Rose, which I thinks works really well with this sheet of the Peaceful Poppies DSP. The stamping of the textured layer on the flowers has been stamped off once to give some variation in the tones on the card. The leaves are stamped in Old Olive onto Old Olive cardstock. To create some texture I have used one of my favourite embossing folders, the Subtle folder(yes again).

This time I have also used the two label dies in the Painted Labels Dies (part of the Painted Poppies bundle), along with the border die. These work really well layered and create some interest around the greeting. These would also work really well with lots of other stamp sets. My greeting is again from the Saleabration Level 1 Sending you Thoughts stamp set. You can choose this set free when you spend over $90 in one transaction during Saleabration. The sequins are from the Peaceful Poppies sequins pack (all products are linked at the end of the post).

It's a Poppy Party! 5 Days of ideas using Painted Poppies bundle, and a gift with purchase this week.

Hello stampers! Welcome to my week long Poppy Party. This week I am showcasing the Painted Poppies bundle on my blog and social media. This was one of the bundles introduced in the 2020 January to June mini catalogue. I'll have a different look using this bundle each day, and I also have a gift with purchase offer for anyone who purchases the bundle from me by January 19th.

My first card is a soft look, which would be suitable for birthdays, thinking of you or even sympathy cards. I've chosen mine to be a congratulations card as I need to stock up on some to send to my team who are always doing amazing things that need recognition.

My colour scheme is Sahara Sand, Highland Heather and Old Olive. I coloured the flower and stems with ink and a Blender Pen (all products linked at the end of the post). Highland Heather is such a beautiful lavender / mauve colour.

To add some texture, I have used Linen thread, and also the Tufted Embossing folder (one of my favourite folders right now for my style of creating). The other one is the Subtles folder and I have managed to sneak that one in too! I have some new ones from the 2020 January to June mini catalogue that I can't wait to try out too. I love how embossing folders give you that extra WOW, yet are relatively cheap to purchase,

For the inside of the card, I have just added the outline poppy image in Sahara Sand to the bottom right corner.

For all of my greetings this week, I am using the level 1 Saleabration set Sending You Thoughts. I like how these greetings can be used alone, or paired with a greeting for inside the card as you will see with some of my other samples this week.
