Step by step instructions for snowglobe cards using Stampin' Up! Still Scenes bundle

Heart of Christmas Week 7 - Spreading the joy of being creative for a handmade Christmas.

Hello there. I'm back from a little study break to bring you Heart of Christmas from the Art with Heart team. We are now up to week 7 - wow! Lets spread some more Christmas creating fairy dust, shall we?

Heart of christmas 2019 full size

Today's cards from me (yes there are two!) are all about Pretty Peacock and Copper Foil.

First up we have this cute church snowglobe card using the Still Scenes bundle from the 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue. I am SO in love with this bundle and the WOW snowglobe cards you can create with it. There are so many different configurations you can use to make cards (keep your eye out for two more Snowglobe cards I will be posting on my blog this week).

Stampin Up 2019 Still Scenes snowglobe Christmas card using Brightly Gleaming DSP. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I have used the Brightly Gleaming DSP as the backing paper, and stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto Pretty Peacock cardstock for the piece behind the globe. The cards are super easy to put together. I will show you step by step in another blog post later in the week. The greeting for this one is from The Greatest Part of Christmas host set (check it out at the end of the post). Did you know you could choose this set for FREE using Stampin' Rewards from a $250+ order? Fot the sequins in this one, I used some old metallic sequins I had. There are great snowflake sequins in the Holiday Catalogue which I have used in the other cards later in the week.

Oooh, I love the Pretty Peacock Foil paper, it's so perfect for Christmas cards. The snow globe is so beautiful with the sequins inside, and I love the dimension you got with your punched bauble.

Vicki Boucher

Amazing cards Claire. I just love the Brightly Gleaming DSP and how you’ve used it with the snow globe shaker card. Gorgeous copper church too! Your second card is just gorgeous with the 3D effect of the punched bauble.

Sharon

What a lovely couple of cards Claire, I love the church in the snow globe and that foil paper is to die for! So pretty. Love the copper ribbon on the ornament card too!

Kate Morgan

Stunning cards, Claire. That snow globe card with the Brightly Gleaming DSP is super pretty with the foil church.

They are gorgeous Claire xx

Catherine Proctor

Both your cards are gorgeous Claire. I just love the tiny church in your snow globe and the dimension of the bauble on your second card xx

Judy May

Both of your cards are lovely, Claire. Pretty Peacock is becoming a favourite with that gorgeous copper accented DSP. Love the bow on your bauble!

Caroline

I love both of your cards Claire. This DSP is so elegant and gorgeous. I love the little copper church and the stamped background on your globe card - I love your choice of colour. It's a really beautiful card. The bauble card is so pretty and I love the stitched labels on it and the 3D bauble with the copper trim. Both cards are just beautiful!
