Week 16 AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop - Early Espresso
September 18, 2018
Here's my card for this week, using one of my all time favourite Christmas colour combinations: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. I have used the Festive Farmhouse Suite from the 2018 Stampin' Up! Catalogue.
I definitely wouldn't call this a 'do in bulk' Christmas card, but I had lots of fun making the Christmas farmhouse scene and doing the paper piecing on the house. I used two different sheets of the Wood Texture 6x6" DSP pack for the house, with the darker sheet for the roof and shutters. I love the fence and all the bits and pieces that come in the Framelits.
Here's another look at my colour combinations:
Now it's time to see what the other Art With Heart team girls have done with Early Espresso this week. You can find links to the other team members on Catherine Proctors blog.

A cute Christmas card but not one I'd want to make batches and batches of!

Lovely card Claire, Lots of fiddly bits to put together I know you would want to make a bulk lot. But really great for that special person.

Oh wow, I assumed you'd coloured the house! The fiddly paper piecing was worth the effort - it looks fantastic!
