Week 11 AWH Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Blog Hop: Cherry Cobbler
August 14, 2018
Welcome to another week of Colour Creations from the Art With Heart team. This week we are playing with Cherry Cobbler, which is a perfect reason to start my 2018 Christmas cards as well.
I have used the lovely Blended Seasons bundle again. I'm SO sad I only get to show you this in August, because I totally love it! It's so perfect for colouring and very versatile for different cards. I love the Framelit shapes too, and that super cool double stitching feature which leaves stitching on the negative piece as well.
I had actually meant to pop a metallic pearl or red rhinestone either end of the greeting, but realised while editing that I forgot - oops! What you might be able to see is some of the new Merry Merlot glimmer paper which is coming up in the Holiday Catalogue - love! For the colouring on this one, I have used Blender Pens and the ink from the inside lid of my Classic Ink Pads in Call Me Clover, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.
I have also used the Sheet Music background stamp in a super haphazard way on the background. To do that:
- Ink up your background stamp and lay it inked side up
- Press your card front down onto the stamp in various sections, including turning the card on angles and leaving parts out
I hope you like today's card. Don't forget you only have until the end of August to get your hands on the Blended Seasons stamp set and Stitched Seasons Framelits. Check out the links at the end of the post.
Now it's time to head back to the blog of my lovely team member Catherine Proctor, so you can see the other Cherry Cobbler creations from the Art With Heart Team ladies.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous week.

Wow, gorgeous card, Claire! The reds look so rich and the tangle of gold sequin trim behind is a fabulous way to embellish the card.
