Heart of Christmas Week 2 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

It's time for another Christmas card creation, for week 2 of Heart of Christmas with the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team. Today I am playing with wire copper embellishments and a beautiful foiled accent Designer Series Paper called Joyous Noel, from the upcoming 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.

Stampin Up Christmas Card using Joyous Noel and other 2018 Holiday Catalogue products. By Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I have used Merry Merlot for my card base (which just happens to also be what I'm drinking while I blog after dinner, but that's another story ….). I have also used a new embossing folder which will be in the Holiday catalogue, called Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Joyous Noel paper is very beautiful with coordinating colours of Copper Foil, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide and Whisper White. You will also spy a gorgeous new reversible Merry Merlot ribbon coming soon!

The wire star is one of the new Holiday Catalogue embellishments, but I have used a couple of other embellishments here too. The embellishment at the centre of the star is one of the large metallic brads (on page 198 of the 2018 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue) with an adhesive pearl in the centre. I have also used small pearls coloured with a Bronze Metallic sharpie on the greeting panel. The greeting is from Itty Bitty greetings stamp set, and the label is from the Bunch of Banners Framelits.  You can view the links for the current products at the end of this post. The other products will be available in the online store September 5th. Get a Holiday Catalogue HERE, or Sign Up and choose any of the new Holiday Catalogue products in your starter kit TODAY!

Week 12 AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop - Coastal Cabana

Who's for playing with a lovely sunny blue this week, in Coastal Cabana? I love this blue and was so happy to see it back this year with the Stampin' Up! Colour Revamp.

Coastal Cabana

Coastal Cabana 2

Here's my card for this week. Coastal Cabana and silver make a fabulous combination for Christmas cards don't you think?

2018 Stampin Up Holiday Catalogue Beautiful Baubles coloured with Stampin Blends. Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Melbourne Australia.

I've used the Beautiful Baubles stamp set, with Coastal Cabana and Silver Glimmer Paper (oh my goodness, you should check out our new and improved glimmer paper - NO MESS, and it also cuts beautifully in the Big Shot now. I LOVE IT. Find it HERE in the online store).

It was so much fun colouring the different baubles in with the Stampin' Blends. Stampin' Blends alcohol markers are perfect when you want blendable saturated colour. Just remember to stamp your image in Memento Black Ink so you don't get any running of the image. Here are the colours of the Stampin' Blends I used (you can buy Stampin' blends individually, or in light and dark combination for each colour. See them all HERE in my online store.

If you are new to Stampin' Up! in Australia, or don't have a demonstrator, don't forget to request a 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue from me. It starts August 5th, but I'm mailing them out over the coming week (if you have a regular demonstrator, please ask them for a catalogue).

Heart of Christmas Week 1 - Christmas creations brought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team, Australia

Heart of Christmas HOC picture

Thursday is going to be Christmas card day, from today until the end of November. The Art With Heart Team girls and I had so much fun creating cards for our weekly Heart of Christmas blog hop last year, that we are back again for another year with weekly card inspiration.

Tonight I am sharing a sneak peek of some of the beautiful products in the new Holiday Catalogue, starting September 5th. Everyone loves a Reindeer right?

Dashing Deer Bundle 2018 Christmas Card Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne AustraliaThis lovely reindeer from the Dashing Deer bundle jumped (excuse the pun) right out at me when I saw the catalogue. I loved the colour and richness of the All is Bright Designer paper, and the design of the new Swirls and Curls embossing folder. It was fun to tie and fray the various threads for the top embellishment too.

Week 11 AWH Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Blog Hop: Cherry Cobbler

Welcome to another week of Colour Creations from the Art With Heart team. This week we are playing with Cherry Cobbler, which is a perfect reason to start my 2018 Christmas cards as well.

Cherry Cobbler

I have used the lovely Blended Seasons bundle again. I'm SO sad I only get to show you this in August, because I totally love it!  It's so perfect for colouring and very versatile for different cards. I love the Framelit shapes too, and that super cool double stitching feature which leaves stitching on the negative piece as well.

Stampin Up Blended Seasons 2018 Christmas Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demo Melbourne Australia.

I had actually meant to pop a metallic pearl or red rhinestone either end of the greeting, but realised while editing that I forgot - oops! What you might be able to see is some of the new Merry Merlot glimmer paper which is coming up in the Holiday Catalogue - love! For the colouring on this one, I have used Blender Pens and the ink from the inside lid of my Classic Ink Pads in Call Me Clover, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.

I have also used the Sheet Music background stamp in a super haphazard way on the background. To do that:

  1. Ink up your background stamp and lay it inked side up
  2. Press your card front down onto the stamp in various sections, including turning the card on angles and leaving parts out

I hope you like today's card. Don't forget you only have until the end of August to get your hands on the Blended Seasons stamp set and Stitched Seasons Framelits. Check out the links at the end of the post.

Now it's time to head back to the blog of my lovely team member Catherine Proctor, so you can see the other Cherry Cobbler creations from the Art With Heart Team ladies.

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous week.

Claire

Week 10 AWH Stampin' Up! Team Colour Creations Blog Hop: Calypso Coral

It' great to be able to start participating more regularly in my team blog hops. Today is the AWH Team Colour Creations Blog Hop and our colour of the week is Calypso Coral.

CC Calypso

Calypso Coral is a beautiful mid strength coral colour, making it super versatile. It's one of the key colours in the Tea Room suite in the 2018 Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue, so I have used a the designer series paper and copper vinyl stickers from that suite in today's card. My base card colour is Coastal Cabana.

Stampin Up Blended Seasons Card by Claire Daly, Stampin' Up! Demo Melbourne Australia

I have used the Blended Season bundle for the stamp and Framelits, as they are limited edition products only available this  month. I really love the stamp set because it's great for colouring and has really versatile images and greetings. The Framelits are really unique too in that when you.  cut the stitched shape, the negative shape also has stitching on it. I think these products are a great investment. They are only available to purchase this month, and you can find them HERE IN MY ONLINE STORE.

I coloured my image using the Old Olive and Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends Markers. I love how easy it is to blend the colour with these alcohol markers, and of course they perfectly coordinate with all the Stampin' Up! colours. To embellish my card, I have used the Tea Room Copper Vinyl Stickers, and an artisan pearl. The butterfly is one of the stickers, which I just stuck onto a scrap of Shimmery White cardstock and cut out with paper snips.
