Art With Heart Stampin' Up! Team New 2018 InColour Blog Hop
May 24, 2018
Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring Stampin' Up! In Colours. Check out the new 2018 - 2020 in colors and lets not forget the current 2017 - 2019 in colors. If you would like a copy of the 2018-2019 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you.
You may have started here, or may have come here from the link on my lovely friend and team member Sharon Davern's blog.
For today's project I have made a set of 5 thank you cards using the new 2018-20 In Colours. Left to right on the back row we have Blueberry Bushel, Pineapple Punch and Lovely Lipstick. On the front row (laying down) we have Call Me Clover on the left and Grapefruit Grove on the right.
Here's a closer look at the cards. The base card is a standard C6 sized Whisper White card (thick cardstock). The next layer is 9cm x 13.5cm piece of standard weight Whisper White, and I have adhered a 2.5cm x 13.5 cm piece of the InColour Designer Series Paper on the left hand side. I LOVE how we have 6x6" paper packs in each of the 2 InColour groups and each core colour group this year. I use these papers so much and they will be high on my shopping list.
I embossed (with the Lovely Floral 3D Embossing Folder) the whole second layer piece once the InColour paper was attached, and I really like how that turned out. I have used some of the coordinating InColour 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon over the join of the paper and cardstock.
For my greeting, I stamped the 'thank you' greeting from the Stampin' Up! Love What You Do Stamp Set in each coordinating ink colour. This is die cut with the second smallest oval Stitched Shape Framelit. I also stamped one of the floral images in the Love What You Do stamp set on the front of each accompanying envelope.
The cards could be enclosed in an acetate or handmade card box to gift to the lucky recipient, but for these ones I just tied them together with some of our beautiful new 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (available in the new catalogue in Whisper White and Very Vanilla, but I have used Whisper White here).
I hope you like this month's project. Now it's time to hop along to my lovely team member and friend Tina Gillespie.
The blog hop goes full circle, so if you find a missing link, or get lost at any point, just click on any of the participants below to get started again.
