Heart of Christmas Week 11 - Christmas creations bought to you by the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team

Hello papercrafters! Welcome to week 11 of the Art With Art Team's Heart of Christmas blog hop.

This week I am using one of the lovely sheets of Designer Series Paper from the All is Bright Designer Series paper pack. It's a lovely photo realistic picture of metallic baubles, and would coordinate well with gold, silver or copper foil.

I have used Copper Foil as my coordinating colour, and have die cut the Merry word from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies. I love the beautiful script words in this thinlit set. The bundle also has a coordinating stamp set, and that is what I have used for the word Christmas. I used a piece of Vellum cardstock under the die cut so it would be more visible.  That cute little label is from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Some lovely shapes in that one and I do love the stitching.

Here's a look at the 12 lovely double sided patterned paper designs you will receive in the 12x12" All is Bright Designer Series Paper pack. There's a really good variety of different designs in this pack.

Week 21 AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop - Granny Apple Green

Today we are playing with Granny Apple Green in the Art With Heart Team's Colour Creations Stampin' Up! Blog Hop.  Granny Apple Green is a beautiful bright crisp green (just like the apple) and looks great with other bright colours and with black and white. 

 

I have used the Making Christmas Bright stamp set and my awesome Stamparatus stamp positioning took which allowed me to get the placement perfectly aligned (those removable plates are a game changer). Here's my colour combination:

The Making Spirits Bright stamp set is such a fun one for Christmas. My son really loves his Christmas lights and puts them up every year so it's very appropriate in our house. I cn see it will be a great set to use for some journaling cards for my December Daily album this year too.

Stampin' Up! Country Home 'Hello' Card

Hello crafty friends. I hope you are having an enjoyable Saturday. It's a cool drizzly weekend here in Melbourne. Tennis was washed out, so I had a nice sleep in and now I am catching up on some blogging. I love lazy Saturdays.

I also love all things floral and vintage, so the Country Home stamp set in the 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue really grabbed my attention. I love the interchangeable vintage vases and floral arrangements. 

I have coloured the image with Stampin' Blends as I love the saturation of colour they give me, and the superior blending. The Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series paper is a great accompaniment to this stamp set. 

Another thing I really like about this stamp set is that it has lots of sentiments included with the images. One of the sentiments also coordinates with the Tin Tile textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

 

Here's a look at the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. Like the name suggests, it has a lovely frosted pearl shimmer finish.

Heart of Christmas Week 10 - Christmas creations bought to you by the Art with Heart Stampin' Up! Team

Hello friends, welcome to week 10 of Heart of Christmas bought to you by the Art With Heart Stampin' Up! team in Australia. I hope our weekly blog hop is giving you some inspiration to get some Christmas cards happening in the craft room.

This week I have had a play with the Santa's Workshop Memories and More cards. This was super simple to make as I combined it with the Real Red Memories and More notecards and envelopes which are perfectly sized for the Memories and More cards.

It was a super simple card to make.I used two of the specialty textured card. One was used as the background layer and the other was used to die-cut the word JOY which was then attached to the other layer with Dimensionals. The holly and elf were die cut stickers which came in the pack, so I just attached them with Dimensionals too. Super easy.

Stampin' Up! Dashing Deer and Washi Tape Christmas Card Idea

Hey ladies.

Sharing a quick and easy card idea with you today. I make a version of this card every year I think (well at least the last couple) as it is so quick and easy. Today's version uses Stampin' Up! Dashing Deer bundle, and the Suite Season specialty washi tape.

It's so quick and easy to make the washi tape background and you could easily do a batch of these cards. This washi tape is from the Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday Catalogue and it's perfect for Christmas with the god stars and traditional colours. It's called Suite Season specialty washi tape. 

I really like the way the gold metallic pearls look around the neck of the reindeer too. The pearls come in a pack of both silver and gold and are a lovely shade of gold especially. Not overly bright and yellow like you sometimes get.
