Art with Heart October Team Blog Hop: Patterned Paper
October 12, 2017
Today it's time for out Art with Heart team monthly blog hop.
Tonight the Art with Heart team girls are sharing some wonderful ideas to inspire you with our Designer Series Papers. This month is the start of the new Stampin’ Up! year and we have a special promotion on our Designer Series Paper, buy 3 get 1 FREE for the month of October and there is no limit!
Today I am showcasing the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper, which is just beautiful. I have made a card and a double page scrapbook layout using the papers. Lets start with the card.
The sunflower paper is probably my favourite sheet in the 12 double sided paper pack. I love the colours in it, and it coordinates well with the Painted Harvest stamp set. I have used the three leaf stamp (coordinates with the new Leaf Punch too) for some extra foliage. My other flower is just cut from the patterned paper. My greeting is from Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and is stamped on Early Espresso onto a Very Vanilla circle cut from the Stitched Shape Framelit.
This picture shows some additional texture I added with the burlap ribbon and gold mini sequin trim.
Next up we have the double 12x12 traditional scrapbook page. This paper is amazing for nature photos and as it has the colours of the sky and plants and flowers in it. Some of the papers in this pack are definitely great for base pages as well, then you have all the other coordinating papers to embellish (I just used a total of three of the patterns in this page).
This was a memory I definitely wanted to record. Our first visit back to Marysville since the town was wiped out and many people died in the 2009 bushfires. It was great to see the town was rebuilding and to see the beautiful statue in the park about new beginnings.
Now it's time to visit the blog of the lovely and clever Andrea Roberts. I know you will just love what Andrea has in store for you.
The blog hop is full circle, so if you get lost anywhere, you can use this list to get back on the hop.

Gorgeous card and I love your scrapbook layouts, such wonderful memories of a town who lost so much in those dreadful fires. I miss the old lollyshop too, just not the same.

I just love the contrast of the graphic background paper on your design. Thank you! It's such a pretty card!

Claire your card and scrapbook layout are just lovely. I bought the stamp set and leaf punch but not the DSP in this gorgeous suite. Each time I see a project made with it, I think I may just give in and buy it - you might have just pushed me closer to a decision! lol :)
