Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 14 with Merry Little Christmas Memories and More Card Pack

Hello  crafty friends. It's time for Heart of Christmas Week 14! I hope your Christmas card stash is starting to take shape as much as mine :) This weekly Christmas card blogging commitment has really helped with my motivation. The fabulous new Holiday Catalogue starts selling on Friday 1st September too, so you will be able to get your hands on the fabulous new Christmas products.

Carrying on from the team blog hop last week, I have had more of a play with the Merry Little Christmas Memories and More card pack. These are multipurpose cards which can be used for pocket style scrapbooking, traditional scrapbooking or even made into cards. Last week I used them in scrapbooking and one card, and today I have made 3 more Christmas cards using cards from the pack.

For this card I have used one of the 3x4 cards, with one of the 6x4 overlays (included in the pack). My card base is Tranquil Tide, and the base paper Merry Music Designer Series Paper (also in the Holiday Catalogue).

Extra embellishments added to the card were some glimmer paper, some adhesive Rhinestone jewels and the beautiful 7/8" striped ribbon from the Holiday Catalogue.

Mmcard1a

For this card I have just used one of the black and white 3x4" cards, and teamed it with some Merry Music Designer Series Paper and Berry Burst cardstock. My embellishments this time are coordinating Berry Burst ribbon (from the Annual Catalogue), silver mini sequin trim, silver metallic thread and one of the new Year of Cheer embellishments from the Holiday Catalogue.

Mmcard 2

For my last card I have used another of the 3x4" cards, and used some of the cardstock stickers with Rhinestone jewels as the embellishment. My base cardstock is Cherry Cobbler and the Olive Olive paper is from the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper stack. At the base of the card I have embellished with a cardstock strip cut using the Decorative Ribbon border punch.

I wanted to show you some ways I have used the Merry Little Christmas Memories and More pocket scrapbook card pack from the Holiday Catalogue. This is a pack of 72 double sided pocket scrapbook cards (52 3x4" and 20 6x4"). The pack also includes 2 sticker sheets and 4 acetate overlay cards, all for just $17.50. The colours are Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, kraft, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive and Whisper White.

First up, I have used them in some traditional pocket scrapbooking, The sticker sheets are great for adding extra embellishment to photos (I love using words especially) and the colours are great for Christmas photos.

Cards 1

You can also use the cards in 12 x 12 scrapbook layouts, either as journaling cards, or also as embellishments by cutting up the bits you need. I have used a card for the title, journaling and also the Lemon Lime Twist patterned circle top right on this layout. I've also used some of the beautiful Merry Music Designer Series Paper.

Card 3

Finally, I have used one of the 3x4 cards on a Christmas card. I really liked this card with the multicolour baubles and it was easy to coordinate the cardstock and embellishment colours.

Card 7

I've also used a couple of other Holiday Catalogue products on this card, including the Foil Snowflakes and Year of Cheer Embellishments.

Now it's time to visit my lovely team member Ros Davidson to see the fabulous Holiday Catalogue creations she has put together for us.

Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 13 with my favourite Holiday Catalogue bundle.

It's Wednesday, so time for some more Christmas cards with the Art with Heart Team. We are up to week 13 with our Heart of Christmas series.

Graphic

Today I have played with my absolute favourite bundle in the new Holiday Catalogue (coming September 1st), the Hearts Come Home Bundle. There are so many beautiful elements to this bundle, I can see I will be making many cards with it.

These cards were so hard to photograph with all the shiny bits on the Glossy White Cardstock and the Champagne Foil Sheets. The rows of houses are actually cut from the Champagne foil sheets here, although its quite hard to see. I wanted to join a couple of bits together on this card so added a couple more bits as a layer to hide the join in the die cts.

Jttw1

My base card is Fresh Fig, which I am loving! I have sponged a combination of Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Fresh Fig onto the Glossy White cardstock. The greeting and sleigh / reindeers are stamped in Fresh Fig. To get the moon I used a mask cut with the 1 3/4" circle punch (I cut it from a post it note) and sponged over it initially, then a bit of light spongeing once it was removed.

Jttw 3

I did a landscape and portrait orientation version of this card.

I hope you have liked this weeks samples. I already have lots more ideas in mind for this fabulous bundle, so stay turned.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful You and Lemon Lime Twist with Embossing Paste

It was a grey drizzly day in Melbourne today (it's late winter here), so I needed a bright card to show you.

I think this one works! I find myself coming back often to use this happy image from the Beautiful You stamp set. It's applicable to so many different cards  I think, but especially congratulations cards.

Stampin Up Beautiful You stamp set, lemon Lime Twist and embossing paste. Card by Claire Daly, Stampin Up Demonstrator Melbourne Australia

My colour combination is Lemon Lime Twist and Pacific Point. I added some texture to the Lemon Lime Twist layer by using some embossing paste coloured with Lemon Lime Twist re-inker, and then used the diamond mask from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks. My image is coloured using the watercolour pencils. I used a greeting for the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set which fits beautifully in the Classic Label Punch.

Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 12 and another Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek

Hello lovely friends, Wednesday again so it's Heart of Christmas day for the Art with Heart team. We are now up to week 12.

Graphic

Today I am showcasing some beautiful new papers in the upcoming Holiday catalogue: The Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper, and the Champagne Foil sheets.

Year of cheer 1

These papers are a bit hard to photograph, but they have beautiful lux foiled designs in gold, copper, silver and champagne. I have teamed them with Fresh Fig and Whisper White cardstock and a reindeer from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits. My embellishments are the Fresh Fig ribbon, copper metallic thread and Itty Bitty Bows. I didn't think this card needed a greeting on the front, as I wanted the beautiful papers to shine (excuse the pun!) on their own.
