Art with Heart Team Stampin Up Heart of Christmas 2017: Week 13 with my favourite Holiday Catalogue bundle.
August 23, 2017
It's Wednesday, so time for some more Christmas cards with the Art with Heart Team. We are up to week 13 with our Heart of Christmas series.
Today I have played with my absolute favourite bundle in the new Holiday Catalogue (coming September 1st), the Hearts Come Home Bundle. There are so many beautiful elements to this bundle, I can see I will be making many cards with it.
These cards were so hard to photograph with all the shiny bits on the Glossy White Cardstock and the Champagne Foil Sheets. The rows of houses are actually cut from the Champagne foil sheets here, although its quite hard to see. I wanted to join a couple of bits together on this card so added a couple more bits as a layer to hide the join in the die cts.
My base card is Fresh Fig, which I am loving! I have sponged a combination of Rich Razzleberry, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Fresh Fig onto the Glossy White cardstock. The greeting and sleigh / reindeers are stamped in Fresh Fig. To get the moon I used a mask cut with the 1 3/4" circle punch (I cut it from a post it note) and sponged over it initially, then a bit of light spongeing once it was removed.
I did a landscape and portrait orientation version of this card.
I hope you have liked this weeks samples. I already have lots more ideas in mind for this fabulous bundle, so stay turned.
No lets look at what the Art With Heart team girls have been up this week shall we?
Thanks for checking in on Heart of Christmas this week. Have a great week,
Claire
I love the colour combinations of this and will have another look at the catalogue at the die cut. Joan

This is my favourite bundle, too, Claire. Great, dramatic, background on your cards, and the edgelits look great cut from Champagne Foil!

Wow, your sponging gives you a fabulous background for your houses. It looks amazing! Great tip for covering the join so that your can use the dies on landscape cards.
