Today the Art with Heart Team girls are showing you their favourite bundles from the 2017 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Bundles make creating a breeze, because of the perfect coordination. It's a bonus that you get 10% off by bundling the products together too. There are 23 bundles in the new catalogue so ask us about them, or for a catalogue today!

You have to come to me from the lovely Alisha Watson's Blog.

I am showcasing the fabulous Oh So Eclectic bundle which is on page 133 of the Annual Catalogue. I chose this one because of the versatility of the Thinlitsand the way the stamps create the illusion of texture. This is the bundle used to create the images on the front of the Annual Catalogue too. This bundle is part of a suite which also includes the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper and some great embellishments.

Here's a look at the bundle:

Oh So Eclectic Bundle

In my first card, I have layered the hexagonal die cut piece over some of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. Next I layered stamped and die cut pieces in Emerald Envy, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime twist to pick up the colours in the paper. My base card is Soft Sky.

I wanted this card for a special birthday I am attending on Sunday, so I stamped a greeting from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set which you will find on page 77 of the Annual Catalogue. This greeting fits really nicely inside the new Pretty Label punch too (page 207).

For my second card I have used the hexagonal piece in another way. Once I had cut it from Powder Pink cardstock, I used my paper snips to cut around the very edge to create an embellishment layer. The paper I have used for this card is one of my favourites in the new catalogue, the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper.

For the greeting on this card, I have embossed the greeting in white onto Basic Black cardstock and cut into thin strips. I have used the new Starburst Punch behind my stamped image. I love it when I can just grab a punch! I found the 2" circle punch a perfect fit for layering in front of the Starburst shape.

The other very cool thing about this bundle, is that the Thinlits also coordinate with another stamp set; You're Priceless on page 160 of the Annual Catalogue. I love this set!

Your Priceless
I have used some more of the paper from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series paper. I stamped the diamond colours first (the two darker colours are stamped off once). When you are doing this, I found it easiest to stamp the darker colours first, so it's easier to see the placement of the lighter colours. I then cut the outline of this stamped shape with the Thinlits. Next I cut the inside of the diamond from the silver glimmer paper, and then the outline shape. The magnetic plate is very handy for this step.

I finished this one off with a greeting in Night of Navy ink, some border stamping in Lemon Lime Twist, and some Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon. The new ribbons in this catalogue are so awesome. Check them out on page 198 and 199. This ombre ribbon particularly caught my eye and also comes in Calypso Coral and Island Indigo.

Amazing cards Claire! Think I might need to add the bundle to an order. The gem is really special, but so is the blue birthday card.
