First Art with Heart Stampin Up blog hop for 2017: Occasions and Saleabration Inspiration

Today I’m excited to bring you a blog hop with some of the awesome ladies in the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team. Today we focus on the new Occasions Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Catalogue and also Sale-a-bration!

2017 Blog Hop

If you place an order with me or any of my team on the hop here during Sale-a-bration, you can choose a free item with every $90 you spend in one transaction. There are lots of fabulous free items to choose from (ask me for a brochure and an Occasions Catalogue) and the promotion goes right through until 31st March.

Better still, become part of our awesome fun, friendly and supportive Art With Heart team. We have a really large team Australia wide that has been around since Stampin’ Up! came to Australia. We have a very active team forum and also have in person stamp days, challenges, card swaps, product shares and more. When you join with me or any of the team during Sale-a-bration, you get 2 extra free stamp sets (of any value) plus $235 product (whatever you choose). That's up to $414 product for just $169. You also get free postage! Ask me about joining today.

My two favourite items in the Occasions Catalogue are the Beautiful You stamp set and the new Watercolor Pencils. I've put these together for a birthday card today.

I used the watercokour pencils for both the background water wash and the image colouring. I love how you can get so many different effects using the pencils. The colours I have used are Melon Mango, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight.

The background cardstock is Basic Grey and the patterned paper behind the image is from Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper. Finally I have popped one of the Finding Love embellishments onto the image to finish off.

Wowzers! This is beautiful, Claire! I love the effect you got on the banner as a backdrop to the woman. Gorgeous!

Love your design and that watercolour wash looks stunning!

Gorgeous Claire

I've been loving the watercolour pencils this week too, love the effect you've created with them here. Beautiful.

Just a Beautiful Card Claire, love the colour combinations and the watercolour effect, so pretty!!
Mon xx

Lovely card, Claire. The watercolour background looks fabulous. It really pops on the Basic Gray.

I still can not believe the watercolour pencils, they just blend so well together as a background and as you have used as well in colouring in a image. I don't have this stamp set but I am loving everyone's designs, it might just be added to my next order.

Love the banner background and the vividness of the ladies dress.

Lovely, Claire. Love your colour choices.

That double banner is stunning, as are the bright colours you've featured.
