Stampin' Up! Gift of Love Thinking of You Cards
August 22, 2016
Sadly lots of friends have been going through some hard times, so I wanted to send them a card to let them know I was thinking of them. I always tend to go for floral stamps in this circumstance. Gift of Love is one of the Hostess sets in this years Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. You can earn this set for free with a $250 order or party total. It's a lovely Gladioli image which can be 2 step stamped, but the outline image is also perfect for watercolouring.
I've used the Petal Burst embossing folder on the 12x12 Kraft cardstock for my base card. For the colouring, I have used Sweet Sugarplum for the flowers and Old Olive for the leaves. I've also stamped the Outline image in Crumb Cake on the inside panel of the card and the envelope to carry the theme through. You can view everything I have used in today's card in the links at the end of the post.
Here's a closer look at the beautiful Gift of Love stamp set by Stampin' Up!. It has some really lovely greetings in a beautiful script font too.
