Art With Heart Team Blog Hop: Memory Keeping
November 19, 2015
Welcome to my Art With Heart Team Blog Hop for November. This month some of the girls are focusing on Memory Keeping (Scrapbooking/Project Life). We all take photos right? Well, capturing every day moments is so special and we need to document these to cherish. We are all passionate about memory keeping and we want to continue to inspire each other, and you, as we move forward in 2016!
First up I have a traditional scrapbook page of a favourite photo from last Christmas. I have used the Words of Truth stamp set on this page, along with the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper.
I have white embossed the title (be sure to use the embossing buddy when embossing white on black). Then I stamped the other phrases from the set and used them as journalling. For some additional journalling I downloaded a free typewriter font, and used that on a spare journalling card. I've also added an antique brad and a spare wooden heart I had leftover from a card kit.
You will LOVE the Words of Truth stamp set by Stampin' Up!. Just use the title or item number 139397 in the search box in my online store (red button top right column).
I also have another page to show you form the Project Life New York album I am working on. The Project Life by Stampin' Up! Let's Get Away Card Collection is awesome for travel pages!
I love how easy it is to tell your story as you go with Project Life. Just pop in the journalling cards and write away. I also use punches to cut out bits of other cards to add additional bits and pieces to the cards sometimes (such as the punched out world shape centre top.
Here is a closer look at the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Card Collection, Accessory Pack and coordinating stamp set. All of these can be purchased in my online store (red button top right) under the Project Life section.
Now it's time to see what the other girls in the blog hop are up to. Next in line we have Alisha Watson.
If you get lost at any stage, here are the list of today's participants:
Have a great day and see you back here soon.
Claire.
I absolutely love your black and white layout. So crisp and well balanced with a retro touch. Very special. xx

Wonderful Claire. Funny how you don't see a set in the catalogue until you see it used on something you like. Loooove the first scrap page. Just beautiful

Oh Claire that photo is absolutely delightful. Your page is quite dramatic and shows the photo off beautifully.
