Magnolia Birthday Card using Remarkable You stamp set from Stampin' Up!
August 25, 2015
Today's card is perfect for our 'nearly spring' days here in Melbourne. This Magnolia stamp is one of the four floral images in the Remarkable You stamp set from the 2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue.
I have water-coloured the image using my aqua-painters and the ink inside the lid of my Rose Red ink pad.
I wanted the flower to stand out, so all I needed was some neutral bits and pieces to complete my card. My greeting is from Happy Happenings sentiment stamp set in the 2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. Love the font on this one. You can view all the products I have used in today's card by clicking the links at the end of today's post.
Have a great day and see you back here again tomorrow. Have lots to share this week,
Claire

Hi Claire, Love this card and how you have used 3 types of the DSP paper. Good use of those and the Magnolia is the exact same colour of the one I have in my front garden. Not in bloom right now but when it is, it's just a wonderful sight. Don't have that stamp but I have one quite similar called Lotus Blossom so I will make use of that and see how it goes. I think our summer is over as we have had rain for the last 3 days. Ah well, time to enjoy making some Christmas cards. Love Jessie x
