Sneak Peek: Stampin' Up! Awesomely Artistic for SB105

Stampin' Up! Indescribable Gift for SB104

Hello lovely people. It's Stamping and Blogging Design Team time, and we have some exciting changes for you this week. From this week's sketch, you can play along and submit your own design link, and be considered for the weekly winners badge. Our new weekly sketch challenge is called Sketch and Stamp, but you will still find us in the same place over at Stamping and Blogging, and that's where you can enter the link to YOUR own creation each week too.

I used this week's sketch to make my Mum her mothers day card using Indescribable Gift from the Occasions Catalogue (this set will not be carrying over to the 2015/16 Annual Catalogue, so make sure you grab it before June 2nd). It's great set for colouring. I have used blender pens and my ink pads to colour here.

You may have picked up that I have used a variation of the spotlighting technique, by overlaying the coloured image section, over the corresponding part of the same image underneath. Usually this is done with a circle image but I quite like how it turned out with the banner cut using the Banner Framelits. I also used the image stamped in crumb cake for subtle decoration on the inside of the card.

Stunning, just stunning and i love the banner picks up the design and adds a pop a colour. You are such a talent x

Bet your Mum loved her card, it is stunning. Love the colours and adding the ribbon and linen thread finished it off perfectly. Very cool how we did the same technique yet they still look so different.

Sorry to be so late but I love this card. What a beautiful antique statement. Weel done Claire. Hugs from Shelagh
