Stampin' Up! Festival of Trees for Stamping and Blogging

Today's card was inspired by the weekly sketch from Stamping and Blogging, SB73. Each week myself and the rest of the design team right around the world blog hop around our take on the sketch. I have chosen Festival of Trees stamp and matching punch from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue to use this week.

I know I have been using this matching stamp set and punch a lot, but it's just SO versatile it always seems to fit what I have in mind. The trees look great stamped and punched, or even just punched from patterned paper. I have used a combination here.

The beautiful die cut 'Joy' word can be found in the Wonderful Wreath framelits pack, along with some other elements. I have also used one of my favourite Stampin' Up! Christmas embossing folders, Northern Flurry. You can find links to all of the products I have used in this weeks card at the end of the post.

Here's the sketch we had to play with this week.

This is so pretty! I love the colors and the glittery die cut sentiment tops it off perfectly. Fantastic card!

Ok, I'm totally in love with this card, love how you layered, loved the colors you chose, everything about it, AND, I love the new layout of your blog, can't wait to see the finished result - so far, I'm totally impressed

So beautiful and love the color choices. I love looking outside the box for Christmas colors and I think I could really put this these to good use. Lots of dimension ...hugs from Shelagh.

Amazing card Claire :-) I love everything about it. I love how you have matched the background tree with the banner and all the little extras finish the card off perfectly.

Wow Claire, your card is perfect ! Love colors, embossing, little trees, everything !
And congrats for the new design of your blog, lovely :)

I found this card on Pinterest and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Love it!

What did you use directly behind the 3 trees , on top of the crumb cake cs? I love your layering and how it all goes so well together!

Hi Anna, thanks for your lovely comments. That is the 'All is Calm' Washi tape under the tress. Hope that helps :)
